Is Knile Davis the answer to our mediocre kickoff return game?

I can't understand for the life of me why AYERS hasn't tried out for that position, along with punt return. WTF??? His head is a lot less drag on friction loss.

Not sure what you are looking at.

2015 average was less than Dri's. lower average of 20+, although he did have 2 of 40+. That was over a season ago with only 10 total returns since. Since, he has done nothing more than quite a few other guys can do and Coates did last year.

He's a former Razorback, so I am endeared to him, but I'm not expecting much.

I think our issue is not the guy returning the kicks, it is the ****** blocking that gets the KR killed.

Is it the ****** blocking or is it ****** scheme

Op sees him as a smallish guy hence he must have a small head.

A heady observation my dear Watson.

The thing Davis has going for him, unlike Dri Archer, is that he's proven he can get the job done. I just hope he's not another Jacoby Jones and still has plenty left in the tank. I think the KR job will boil down to roster spots on the 53. If Davis is in play as back-up RB, he'll have a good shot. As far as returning kicks, he does seem to have a nose to get upfield in a hurry, and not dilly-dally around. Toussaint was downright painful to watch on occasion.

he slipped some last season, he will have to show he can rebound to past success or he could be beat out by Coates or Ayers....or another candidate

every year seems like there is little to no improvement in the KR and PR units all the way back to the Cowher days.

How the living **** can you even ask this question till he steps on the field and shows something?

All that past **** is just **** from years ago. Nothing applies to 2017.

Last year it was Monday WAS an upgrade to Berry, before he ever stepped on the field.

How'd that work out Coach? SMH...

I think the 2 returners should be Ayers and Coats

If he is not I would go ahead and say its our special teams coaching/scheme and not the player. He proved he can return the ball in KC.

Just watched Super Bowl XIV and Larry Anderson was phenomenal in that game. 5 returns for 162 yards, a record that appears to still stand. Why is it so hard to find a good one? Have the KO rules changed that much?

I think you meant Bobby April days.
