32 TDs 6 INTs his sophomore year,
I hear ya ..... that is nice to see from J. Love ...... but it makes the 20 TD 17 INTs this year make me wonder why such a drastic change
32 TDs 6 INTs his sophomore year,
absolutely agree. of course, there's pretty much 0.01% chance of that happening, but i'd be sprinting to the podium to select him if he were still there.
New coaching staff, no WRs and mediocre talent surrounding him. By the way, the ONLY thing the NFL drafts on is potential and talent
He also showed the Jameis Winston gene of generosity this season ( 20 TD vs 17 INTS) but some team will elevate him up the draft board based on physical skills and potential.
I watched some tape on him - he doesn't know how to throw touch passes. Everything is a fast ball...

Well they just hired a QB coach perhaps that might help.[emoji16]Got a question ..
Who has faith that we have the proper assistants to even groom a new franchise QB if we get one?
I love me some Jalen Hurts... but NO. He struggled to read the better college defenses. It can't be any easier in the pros.
Not to mention "Hurts' passing is the major concern. No quarterback held onto the ball longer than Hurts (3.08 average time to throw) in 2019, which in turn brought a lot of pressure. Hurts was charged with the seventh-most pressures of any quarterback this past season, and given his slow release things will only get worse in the NFL" because the players are even faster and more sophisticated at reading QBs.
