It was obvious to anyone our DB’s and coaching would not advance the Steelers far in the playoffs.

Our offense sucks balls also. We have one TD in 6 quarters with Ben and that was a result of a drive starting on the Hags 22 yard line after a turnover. hen we score on a 2 yard drive after a turnover,. This team is not good on either side of the ball and is incredibly poorly coached. A real coach could win and change the entire complexion of this team but we are stuck with Cool Shades and his immense stupid arrogant gut.

Thats true and this team would have benefited from that approach in the past few years but as it stands now this bunch is a lost cause

We need half a dozen starting caliber new players on defense and at a minimum a couple WRs and a fresh RB and another TE on offense.

Thats a decade of drafts with this coaching staff.

That window full of sunshine everybody always talking about is slammed shut, nailed down, covered up and painted over.

When they lose next week even the hardcore smoke blowers will come to see that
 
The Tomlin era needs to come to an end. I am tired of the mediocrity that has been Steeler football for the past 5 years. It is not getting better. This team has lost it's identity, and too many dumbasses drafted. Undisciplined play, and too many dumb penalties. At times, it resembles a clown show. I know many life long Steeler fans that are losing interest in this team....and I can be at the stadium in 20 minutes. I have turned down free tickets in the past year. I know that might sound crazy to some of you, but that is where I am.

**** free tickets? Send them my way next time. The stadium is beautiful, and I love the area despite some of the outcomes..........

If we do draft in the top 10 this year, we need the best defensive player we can get.

We can go to WR in round 2. No 3rd round pick this year though.

That's great for fantasy football fans,but this team isn't winning anything shiny without a solid defense.
 
The rebuild started the day Bell and Brown left.
Most of you on here were too busy pumping up Ju Ju, Conner, and the O-line.
Those of us with our eyes open and the slightest bit of football knowledge saw this coming from a mile away.
Ben's injury has little to do with this season being a joke.
Its actually better for him at least he doesn't have to take unnecessary damage as the ship goes down.

we can't get rid of this ************, nor can we get rid of Tomlin
 
I would never refer to Ben as "this ************".
 
Rebuild what? Yea Ben is gone for the season but we have young guys on both sides of the ball. Only thing we could benefit from is new coaching.
 
The defense has some young players that just need experience and coached up. We need a DC with some imagination and not under the thumb of Tomlin. Just watching the games yesterday in the local sports bar with five TV showing different games you sure see a glaring question on how we play certain downs and distance compared to other teams. The aggressiveness and energy lacking in comparison, except a limited number of our players.
