Is everyone else expecting KC to hand it to us this week?

You never know...I feel better about the Steelers playing against decent teams than the bottom feeders...It was said earlier but I wouldn't be surprised if we lose by 40 or win by the skin of our teeth. I'm just going to try and enjoy it. Going to do up some wings for this game.

Is this annutha ***** boy back steppin’ Bob thread...please, KC is ripe for a loss
I hope you are right. Im reading where KC is so consumed with winning the game that they are going to activate Kelce even though he has not cleared COVID protocol yet. Tyreek Hill has cleared but not Kelce. Nevertheless, KC is going to activate him supposedly. Its just like whenever the Steelers come to any town, the other team gets extra motivated. Yes, Im aware they are trying to get the #1 seed but we see things like this all the time. When PIT comes to town, the opponent just has an extra pep in their step. They want to beat the Steelers like EVERYBODY does. Sure, they know PIT is not a good team and is 7-6-1, but trust me they want to beat PIT just because its PIT.

Man, Im watching IND v ARI and wanting ARI to play like a 10-4 team at home and beat IND and they cannot do it so far. Wanting IND to get their 7th loss and one would think on the road at ARI, that would happen, but of course not. ARI is sucking.

Anyway, I hope Mahomes has an off night and throws some picks and somehow Ben can move the team and get some actual TDs instead of FGs. Gonna be hard, but who knows with this PIT team. They win games they should not and lose games they should not.

I guess what we all saw against TEN is what scares me the most. That OLine just opened up holes and gaps and lanes for the RBs to run wild. TEN stopped throwing the ball and went one dimensional and almost won the game. PIT DLine/linebacker situation is just horrible. Im glad TJ will be playing and trying to contain Mahomes, but honestly Mahomes might not need to throw the ball much and the KC running attack may be all they need. Lord, I hope not, but this season has shown a PIT defense that I have never seen. A run defense that is last in the league or right at it. A run defense that looks helpless much of the time. Maybe Tomlin can come up with something--God knows what it might be--but something that can at least stop the run. But that will just mean that the secondary will have to deal with Mahomes and all that he brings to the table. Pick your poison.

That's been the mo of the Steelers for a long time. Consistently losing to teams they should dominate. Not only losing, but looking absolutely awful. That goes back 10 years. Good teams they're competitive against. It baffles the mind, but that's the standard.

LOL. If you approach every game like it is going be a Jesse James ending, there are no surprises. Works every time.
Easier said than done though. 🤣

Well Hill and Kelce OUT. The stars are aligning

Hill is a go and the NFL has aligned the stars so Kelce can be a go................................... just needs a negative

Salute the nation

Just saw on NFL network that Kelce is OUT (Covid) today.

Perhaps teams viewed the Steelers in this light at one point in time, but I'm afraid that those days are long gone. If grounded in reality, I'm pretty sure the vast majority view us as a below average, dysfunctional team with a head coach that isn't worthy of the position. We'll always have the late 70s and Ben's two SBs, though.

If we are hanging our hopes on Tomlin coming up with something, we are definitely screwed. The best thing we can hope for is that they allow BB to take control of the offense and Tomlin sits on the sidelines and shuts the hell up. And if he gets the urge to challenge a play, he should do the exact opposite of what his gut tells him.

"Would have beaten the Vikings" is a bit of a stretch, considering that even if Freiermuth holds on, the Steelers still needed an additional two-point conversion just to get the game into overtime. An even then, winning would have only been a 50/50 proposition.
I disagree in that the Steelers had completely taken over momentum by that point.

Hmmmm??? This smells familiar...

Minnesota was nursing a 20+ point lead for most of the second half, and still put up 13 points. If they get the coin flip and are no longer trying to protect a lead, I have little doubt that the Steelers' momentum would have amounted to jack ****.

And guess what? KC handed it to the Steelers this week. Imagine that.
