Is Ben to blame for AB going AWOL a few days before the team’s season finale?

I've just found this article that gives another perspective to the AB's latest drama.

.....“And Wednesday in practice, when he [Brown] did practice, I heard he ran the wrong route, Big Ben threw the ball on the ground, said ‘Get him out of here, get somebody else in there’ and that’s when AB was at his boiling point and that’s when he went off,” Jones said on the Wednesday edition of NFL Total Access.

I agree with the JuJu thing and if Ben got hot it was because while AB may be in shape is he running incorrect routes? Ben is the captain of this offense and he wants to correct someone he has that right. No matter who it is. AB needs thicker skin.

QB's berating receivers is nothing new. If Brown was sleepwalking through practice and not producing, for the dough he's being paid he deserves to be called out.
We'll see how many 1,000 yard seasons he has with Jimmy Garoppolo.

Shannon Sharpe has an opinion -

Big Ben is terrible leader. He’s a finger pointing, divisive, selfish player. Who constantly looks for someone to blame or throw under the bus for his shortcomings. Le’veon situation was the prob now. Le’veon wasn’t the reason 7-2-1, but the problem for missing playoffs. FOH
— shannon sharpe (@ShannonSharpe) January 2, 2019

And here I thought his communication problem was just a verbal thing. I get the gist of what he is saying, but what a mess.

Haha yep blame Ben, it was only a matter of time.

Not one local guy has reported this. If this did happen wouldn't AB have posted something on social media?

AB has missed other walk throughs and practices this season. The KC walk through was one of them.

Where the hell are the coaches if AB is no showing and then ******* plays up???

Whitey again! Damn whitey !

No Bell, no AB, no Ben!

Now the offense can suck just like the defense

Woo-hoo!

We are the New New Browns, lol

0-16 here we come!

I don't care what Ben said or did...if you have a problem you talk to Ben about it or go to the coaches. You don't stop showing up for work and stop responding to phone calls.

I believe the JuJU MVP thing had a lot to do with it too. He's not being treated like the God he thinks he is by the other players and doesn't like it. That's my take from what I've seen and read. Maybe I'm wrong but he hasn't come out with any better explanation.

Ya know, I think I'd rather lose than have a team full of prima donnas who care only about themselves and their money and their stats.

Of course you would, SBs are so overrated when u could have bunch of good Catholic choir boys bending over and taking one for the team.

A FAKE PUNT should be mandatory in every game too, just to keep all the fans interested in their 3-13 team every year.

Yeah **** it let us keep the underachieving coach who can't keep the players in line.

Sounds legit !

What am I missing here? Finger pointing, selfish, divisive player? Ben is the first one to take the blame when it's not entirely his fault. Is he different in the locker room or field when he is not being interviewed? Maybe, but he seems like he cares about being a team guy and winning. If others know a different side, please enlighten me, but Sharpe has his nose where it doesn't belong.

I know I'm just speculating, but I believe that the real reason for AB's current dissatisfaction was being snubbed for the MVP award. This plus the alleged 'dressing down' by Ben in the practise on Wednesday might have been too much to deal with given his emotional state.

I'm not blaming Ben, I just posted this article as it gives us another possible reason to this bizarre situation.

A few super stars don't make a super bowl winning team. I think the Steelers have made that abundantly clear the last few years. The culture and unity is every bit as important.

WTF does that have to do with what I said? Tomlin needs to go. I blame him in large part for this me first culture.

Yep, when some of Ben's current or former teammates comes out and says these things I'll believe it. Otherwise it's just a bunch of know-nothings grasping for an excuse for AB's childish behavior.

That *** clown is a former Raven.
Ben was the first to take blame after the Jax playoff loss, even though he threw for 400+ yards and 5 TDs vs the best defense. He always greets the FG unit with high fives after they come off the field.
He was asked about what it was like to win the NFL passing title, he said it's not my passing title, it's the entire offenses passing title.

Do these fucktards know he has a show every Tuesday on the radio? They should listen, because he's the least selfish guy on the team. He talked AB up Tuesday even after the **** he pulled.

Yes, he did. He considers AB one of his best friends. If there is a beef there, Ben doesn't see it or is downplaying it. I do think we are dealing with a man-child in AB and needs a lot of babysitting, but he can't be contained any longer. There's a lot of incidents that have led up to this moment with AB, temper tantrums on the sidelines, the Miami situation, going off on players and coaches, missing meetings, practices, etc. We don't hear all this noise with Ben, but the fingers get pointed in his direction. It's baffling. How does SS know Ben is a terrible leader? He needs to explain.

Because if you replace him with a no nonsense coach it is not out of the realm of probability the **** stops.
