Iran

I haven't worn a uniform in over a half century, hell, it's closer to 60 years now, but if you want to know about 1970 and the complete clusterf**k that was southeast Asia, I'm your guy.

However, it's 2026 and I'll defer my opinions to Sarge regarding out military's capability as well as its shortcomings as he is the only one here with firsthand knowledge on the situation. But I would bet that our military is still hindered by politicians and bureaucrats that never laced a pair of boots, just like a lifetime ago.

What I can't comprehend are those here that seem to be actively hoping for failure without suggesting a solution.

What's that old saying, if you're not part of the solution, you're........

Obama administration acknowledges $1.7B transfer to Iran was all cash
September 6, 2016 / 9:42 PM EDT / AP

WASHINGTON D.C. -- The Obama administration is acknowledging its transfer of $1.7 billion to Iran earlier this yearwas made entirely in cash, using non-U.S. currency.

A Treasury spokeswoman says the cash payments were necessary because of the “effectiveness of U.S. and international sanctions,” which isolated Iran from the international finance system

Misconception: The Iran Deal stopped Iran’s Nuclear Program
The Facts:
The objective of the JCPOA was to verifiably constrain Iran’s nuclear program and impede progress towards a
nuclear weapon. However, the agreement does permit Iran to keep a comparatively small amount of monitored
low-enriched uranium
. Thus, the Iran Deal does not extinguish all Iranian nuclear activity, but constrains and
restricts Iran’s ability to obtain a nuclear weapon

“Out of compliance” - source?

Again, low enriched uranium is what has been offered to the Saudis. Why can they be trusted but Iran could not in 2018?

Are you that stupid?
Which country chants Death to America, writes this in propaganda and just this week called for the death of the American President's wife?
