I couldn't have said it better myself.

Look, Israel isn’t the good guys. Just because they’ve owned just about every US president the last 60 years to the point we call them our greatest ally means jack. They are not our friends. They use us as a means to an end. And we send them taxpayer money to do it. Look at how many people in our government have dual citizenship with Israel and use that to influence policy. It’s ridiculous.I'm not sure that I would trust either of them, but would give Sarge some credence given his personal experience.
My all expenses 12 month vacation to SE Asia was over 50 years ago, since then the furthest I've been outside US border has been Cancun, where I knew not to wander too far off the beach.

I don’t often disagree with you Sarge but I will here. Israel is a modern democratic society in the midst of a region of radical oppressive ideology that wants to obliterate it. We aren’t just fighting Israel’s battles, they’re fighting ours and the rest of the modern civilized world’s.Look, Israel isn’t the good guys. Nevah underestimate the powah of da Schwartz.May the Schwartz be with them.
Reports indicate that at least 16 U.S. installations across eight countries have sustained significant damage, with some facilities described as "virtually unusable." Strikes have targeted "bottleneck" equipment that is extremely expensive and difficult to replace. This includes advanced radar systems linked to THAAD missile batteries and Boeing E-3 Sentry surveillance aircraft, with one aircraft alone valued at roughly $500 million. In bases across Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, Iranian missiles and drones have reportedly flattened hangars, destroyed runways, and knocked out critical satellite communication "ray domes". Due to the severity of the strikes, the majority of U.S. troops have reportedly evacuated traditional base positions, with many operating from more secure, decentralized locations like hotels and apartments.
I think that the Iranians are aware that they stand no chance in unfettered bombing, so they work out a cease fire that they know they will completely ignore, thus getting reestablished with the fragments they still have. With the ceasefire on the verge of total collapse following major military escalations in the Strait of Hormuz and the region today, and given we're 66 days into the Iran War, how is everyone feeling about it?
I've been reading about how woefully under-reported the damage has been to US bases in the region. Why is this information being kept from the public?
There is nothing to report, there is no war according to Trump. I don't know about the base damage, but the one aircraft you mentioned I talked about earlier. It was on a base in Saudi Arabia and supposedly we only had 8 I think it was in total. With the ceasefire on the verge of total collapse following major military escalations in the Strait of Hormuz and the region today, and given we're 66 days into the Iran War, how is everyone feeling about it?

Trump is playing it to get the local countries to go into Iran instead of us, and is also weighing the options of allowing the IROR to remain or not.
It was stupid to start with, but we’re in it now. Gotta follow through and finish it.With the ceasefire on the verge of total collapse following major military escalations in the Strait of Hormuz and the region today, and given we're 66 days into the Iran War, how is everyone feeling about it?

I’m going to Kuwait in October. The base I am going to was hit. Once. Destroyed a small building.

Don’t know. What I can tell you is that Ali-Al Salem was hit pretty good, destroyed a hangar, a couple maintenance facilities but they are operating normally. Arifjan was hit, but damage was minor. Camp Buerhing took a drone hit that hit nothing but sand. That’s Kuwait. Thanks, Sarge. Stay safe, man. Any truth to this, in your estimation?
The prices suck. I hate it. I still think that some politicians and corporations are taking advantage of it to make more money. The average man be darned. Just try to make Trump look bad. That's what matters.Being a simple man myself, opinions on Iran will vary depending on whether one hates or loves the current POTUS.
Those believing Orange Man Bad will get their talking points from Bluesky and the like, and will reflect their mindset.
Those with an opposite take will listen to Fox and Friends believing every word.
I don't think that having gas prices similar to the last administration is causing "serious damage" to the US economy, but just like Biden, they will spike inflation.
How long that will be is anyone's guess, but we need to realize that we're all in this and need to focus on a solution to rid the world of the Iranian Islamic regime, rather than
stage a pisssing contest about who is right. The blockade of the strait is causing more damage to Iran's economy than it is to ours. But that's just my opinion.
Ali Al Saleem, port shuyba,, Arifjan, or one of the small outposts? It was stupid to start with, but we’re in it now. Gotta follow through and finish it.
As far as the “woefully under-reported damage,” it has been minimized to a degree, but nowhere near what the conspiracy theories are claiming. Hell, one news outlet claimed our casualties are in the thousands. I can assure you that is categorically false. It is 13 dead, about 60 wounded, most of them already returned to duty.
