I love how so many people think this song is patriotic, but it’s actually a critique of performative patriotism. The irony in Donald Trump using it is that he, among many others, is the ultimate Fortunate Son.
I don’t read that much into it. It’s bombing footage with a soundtrack and I like it. And I would say that Trump is serving our country extremely well.
I had to look up the lyrics, because I had no idea.
A Vietnam era anti-war song that describes exactly what Trump had been admonished for. Those fortunate ones that avoided being drafted.
John Fogerty, the song’s writer, has publicly criticized Trump for using it, noting that the lyrics target "silver-spoon hypocrites". Fogerty issued a cease-and-desist order in 2020, arguing that Trump—who received five draft deferments, including one for bone spurs—is exactly the type of person the song critiques.

Trump had apparently used this song several times. Most likely by hearing “red, white and blue” in the lyrics it was assumed by him to be patriotic. It’s anything but.

I was not for this "war". But now that it has happened, agreed. Regime change or it is a waste. Given it back to the Irainian people and then get out.

To do that, in my opinion, you gotta use ground forces. I don’t think anyone in America wants that, save for a small group of retards that are just happy to watch the world burn and make a pile of money from the deaths of soldiers. Bombing has achieved about as much as it is going to, short of carpet bombing with MOAB’s or using a tactical nuclear weapon, which should be completely out of the question.

Dodge! Deflect! You can’t, you won’t, you’re in a cult.
The strait needs to be cleared of mines and reopened. According to international law, the strait is in international waters and should be treated as such.
I have no doubt that it will reopen, the question being does the regime in Iran cooperate or face the consequences of defying maritime law.
