Internet Thinks Refs Helped Pats

When you "pointed" something out did the ***s fan just talk over you and try to avert the attention>>>>>>>> most around here just talk over you and keep talking with no break so they don't have to listen to reason......... Rude as hell

Kinda. He kept talking about how Tom Brady is the GOAT and how he respects him. Then told me I needed therapy because I said Brady could die in a fire and nobody would give a ****.

The calls at the right time for the cheats, and then calls against them when the game is decided. The TDs taken away from opponents, and the same TD good for the cheats.

Here's the deal. The nfl has it in for them as if it will make the nfl better. They are wrong, and I'm tired of caring about my team when I know that they won't get an honest chance to get the ring.

The Steelers these last two years are WAY more talented than the cheats, but that makes zero difference now that the powers that be are already giving to the cheats.

I just can't watch anymore. I just don't care. This league sucks. They lost a VERY enthusiastic fan, who started two fan clubs, dozens of fan rallies, and has traveled for a bunch of games, had players over to my house, etc.

I'm just done. Sorry nfl. You suck and I'm over you.

All the pass interference calls the Jags got away with against the Steelers were called for the a cheats.

The past 3 years has been telling in officiating.
Kinda stopped caring too.

There's only so much a team can overcome penalty wise.
No opponent stands a chance against the cheats in a playoff scenario

Like I said, the league NEEDS people to think the Pats***** aren't cheating any more and can with without it. They will make sure they get to every Super Bowl as long as Belicheat and Br*dy are together.

James caught that ball too.

Pittsburgh Dad: "hey, yinz know Jesse James caught that ball" (repeat 8x) earlier in the year: "why don't yinz just give the patriots the Lombardi now, and give the browns the number 1 pick"

Yes, you've said that many times now. Still not compelling, still ridiculous. But I'll call Scotland Yard and get them on the case

Are yinz good at math? You tell me how many times that team has been caught and punished.

Fact Goodell destroyed tapes to protect the shield.
Fact cheats were caught at least twice, and punished twice.

With that being a significant blemish, why wouldn't the league try to lessen the perspective of fans. Same fans that the league exists due to their viewing and purchases.

I think it is more of one ref payed off. (Kraft) But for Goodell to be involved knowing how willing he is to brush any and everything under the rug. Isn't some far side viewpoint.

I know some people don't believe in this or that. Still doesn't mean that there isn't something shady going on.

What if Lance And Pete Rose were just slapped on the wrist for their cheating, think they would have stopped?

I mean I know your stance, before I go into a thread. At the same time yinz seem like the type to get smacked in the head with a rock someone threw, and automatically assume it was innocent. Even though the same person smacked you in the head previously and declared, accident!

Ever heard the ol saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me?

Not only am I good at math, but I'm also good at not being a dumbass. Are YOU good at THAT?? Because I wonder when I see dumbass responses like this.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to CoolieMan again.

National writers are calling out all of the missed calls or bad calls the Patriots get. It's one thing if they were averaging 5-6 a game like every other team, but when they're getting 1 call it's pretty obvious.

Decided to go through some numbers to see if maybe this penalty thing is just a false perception. Particularly with respect to 2 of the most subjective and potentially game changing calls, offensive holding and defensive pass interference.

I went through the play by play of every Pats playoff game in the last 5 years 2013 up to last Sunday. That is 15 total games including Super Bowls

Guess how many times Pats have been called for offensive holding, not including special teams plays......

The answer is 3

And 1 of those was on Martellus Bennett blocking downfield. If you want to look at just the OL, they only have 2 accepted offensive holding calls in 15 playoff games.

For comparison, opponents had 9 accepted offensive holding calls.

What about Defensive Pass Interference? Take a second to think......

Pats have been flagged (accepted) 5 times for Def Pass Interference. Their opponents, 4 times. Seems fair. What yardage is involved?

Pats Def Pas interference 5 for 49 - average just 10 yards per
Opponents 4 for 111 average 28 yards

What? That's a pretty big difference.
