Initial Thoughts on dolphin Game

I agree. I'm just a bit further down the "fire him" road than most. He could win the SB this year and I still want him gone. Sorry. It's where I'm honestly at.
Yeah, Tomlin’s at the end of a long and winding road as Steelers head coach, however if he wins the Super Bowl this year, I’d give him two more years for sure!

Fair enough. I'm just past that. It's all good. I cheer for whoever is there.
Go Shades!

That’s right!
Wouldn’t that be a wild ride if Tomlin went on a run and one a conference championship or even God willing a Super Bowl.
Heck, it might be one way for Tomlin to move along with his life‘s work while at the pinnacle of his profession.
That would be a win-win for everyone on this board!

Initial thoughts...

"Where are the haters???"
See, there you go again with this bullshit haters comment.
You’re the resident Tomlin nut hugger on this board. Why don’t you at least admit it?
At least I’m vocal about my feelings toward Tomlin. They won’t win or even sniff another SB with this fraud.

On our "Tush Push" with CH, what is the point of Rodgers standing behind the play with his hands in his waist warmer? Makes not sense. Put a RB back there or someone that could be considered a threat. Good grief.

Catch up, Nancy...

LOL yay we beat a 6-7 team that never wins in the cold with a QB that never wins in the cold, yay Tomlinship!
I guess their 5 game winning streak is meaningless, eh???

There are no juggernaut teams in the AFC. Fact.

I'm riding the euphoria today - yinz can pout, if you like, but the team won.

Im not exactly a hater, I just think it’s time for a change.
There are both rational and irrational things Tomlin gets blamed for.

I still think it’s more because of lack of this organization inability to spot true talent than it is coaching.
And if Tomlin plays a major role in player acquisitions then yeah, he should go.

Rumor has it that the Fins were running the ball down other team’s throats in those 5 wins.
They should have also been able to do that against our poor run D, especially in the cold.

4 game winning streak, the last 3 games they beat the Commanders without their QB, the Saints, and Jets. No one is pouting, just some of us still expect to be contenders, not just happy with above .500

I don’t think just because you want Tomlin replaced you’re a hater.
None of us know the man to form a hatred for him.
The fact that he’s been there nineteen seasons now and hasn’t been to a SB in fifteen seasons or won a single playoff game going on nine seasons has made most fans very skeptical.
Most fans have lost confidence in this coach and don’t expect much each season.
The guy is stubborn and doesn’t appear to want to change. He hires lackeys that are nothing more than yes men.
Most fans want a fresh start and goofy Rooney missed a perfect opportunity last year when the Bears came calling.

Put this entire year in perspective for a moment.
The Bengals lost their franchise QB for a huge chunk of this season and lost a lot of games.
The Ravens were ravished with early season injuries to starters including their QB and thus started 1-5.
Here we are with three games left and we’re still fighting to win the division.
With all that has happened to the Bengals and Ravens this season the Steelers should have already wrapped the division up.
It’s been a bad division mainly because of injuries but someone has to win it.
That’s where we are with this team. An 8-6 team that’s very average that still hasn’t clinched a bad division.
Looks like another Tomlinism! Whoopi!

I love every win. I also want to see a playoff win. Anything less and my stance will not change at all.

The problem is we have been here so many times before. I am always happy when they win. Who isn't. But say they make it to the playoffs and actually win a game? Then what? Is that enough to erase everything that has happened since 2016? Not with me. Because I am 100 percent sure we will be wanting the whole thing torn down and rebuilt here again eventually.

They do this exact same thing to us every year.

It's been too long since we've seen an offense like we saw in first 20 minutes of the second half. They're still starting slow and need to do better killing the clock late in games, but this is what I've been expecting to see most of the season.

Cook looked the part for sure. Let's hope Meyer doesn't screw him up.

Defense actually looked solid for the first three quarters.

A lot of things Miami did were real headscratchers, but a good win none the less.

I think next week will be a much better litmus test, but this was probably their most complete game in a quite some time.

It's a set up for a surprise flea flicker in the future. Or not.

Yeah, at least motion him out of the backfield or something. Anything to even the numbers up.

MIA vs. PIT. Good, needed win for sure. We have a whole different ball game coming this weekend in Detroit. That team will be scrapping for life at home. They have a banged up secondary, just not sure our receiver core is up to taking advantage of that. This coming game will be a BIG test for stopping a very proficient rusher in Gibbs.

Yeah, I think he might still move on, this team is built for this season only. Gonna have to start over next year at QB again.

If they can't pressure Goff consistently, the D is in trouble.
