Im not sure I can get past half next week

Yep! Exactly how I feel. Pickett and Pickens will be exciting to watch.
Also remember that Josh Allen in his rookie year looked like a bust and the Bills were not that good.
Patience with Kenny, he will be fine and grow from this loss.
,
The Bills are an afc power house. Josh Allen’s arm strength is scary good.

The Steelers have something in Pickett. He’s still a rookie, working against a bad O coordinator, however he has some solid decision making. He’ll get better as the game slows down

I think Kenny is showing typical rookie problems mixed in with flashes of what he can be. I think he is going in the right direction. I fully expect him to improve as the season progresses.

I thought the Bills before the season had the look of a SB team. Nothing has changed that opinion.

I gutted it out looking for progress with K.P. today and I saw many NFL quality throws. Lots to build on. But watching Brady go 26-30 for 4 bills and 4 TDs next week dicing the Steelers over the middle might he too much.

I'm 48 years old so I'm too young to really remember the lousy 80's team granted, but have watched every game for the past 28 years and know exactly how you feel.

We are starting to see games with low effort, low energy, being physically dominated, and having completely uncompetitive coaching and it's very hard to watch.

I turned off my first game in 28 years for the embarrassing beatdown at the Bengals last year and almost turned them off today too, and almost turned them off in the 1st half at the Vikings for the same reason.

Turning them off when they don't compete and are physically and mentally dominated doesn't make you a bad fan in my opinion, feel free to flame away on me...

I don't buy that real fan bullshiit. I've been a Steeler fan for over 45 years. I have watched and supported them through thick and thin. I didn't watch but a few plays today. At 55 years old I will not allow a football team to ruin an absolutely beautiful day. I shot clay birds and then drank beer outside. It would be different if I saw some type of change. You do not. This team rolls out the same crap week after week. Maybe it is the "real" fans that are the dummies. It's like groundhog day. Look at it this way. Would you eat the same meal every day, day after day by choice, then complain about it? People would say, well, you are an idiot if you do. Well, there you go.

I am under no illusions that my not supporting them will change anything. I will watch again, even if they lose, if I see some changes.

I have no reservations about Kenny. With our O-line, defense and coaching staff, we may beat Carolina and Atlanta this year.

I’ll be at the game next week. I think I have a better chance at winning the stadium 50/50 than a Steelers win, but…any given Sunday.

I just try to zero in and watch the positives and hope for change. I knew post Ben wasn't going to be pretty as he masked a lot of problems. I like what I see in the rookies. This draft class seems pretty decent and has the potential to be special.

Lower your expectations and up your post game activities. Yinz will make it through it. Stay strong.

Lol. Relax, the game is out of your control.
If Brady carves them up, then he carves them up.

If he doesn’t then great. The defense stepped up.

It’s all entertainment and meant to be a get away from life stressors. Your success or failures in life shouldn’t coincide with your fandom. Fandom is always something to look forward to.

Unless your Berm. That’s a different story.
Go Dawgs!

🤣🤣🤣. Haven’t seen anything of Berm since pregame Heineken announcement. Hope he’s ok.

Games like today. Whatever. I knew they would get killed and Buffalo might be a good blocker for teams I really hate in the playoffs. But watching what Brady is gonna do..........

Have a little faith... We'll be back to being mediocre soon. It's always the darkest before the dawn.

The thing is, if we are honest with ourselves, we have to realize this is what it is going to take to get the change we want. It is going to have to get real bad before Rooney thinks about a change. We may be getting there. And the thing is, I like Mike Tomlin. I think he is an asset to the NFL. But not in Pittsburgh anymore. It is over. He needs the shock of being fired to realize he cannot keep rolling out the same crap. Maybe that will benefit some other team at some point, IDK. I don't care. I am just sick of it. And I choose not to watch too much of the bottoming out.

Tampa isn't the Bills not even close. It should be a closer game.

Lol. I’ll throw your frustrations on Djfan. He’s used to working with this type of vicarious peoples.
All them losers from New Mexico

Come on Sask, watching the current version of the Steelers is practically stress free. At one time they were perennial
playoff contenders, causing increased blood pressure, screaming at the TV as if it would make a difference. With no expectations,
there's no reason to get excited. I would still like them to win, but also live in reality.

The positives i came away with:

1. Kenny Picket is the real deal. I saw some really good stuff from him. I would have liked Trubisky to be this way, and Let kenny sit for a while. But He did well.
2. Running game wasnt great, But Jaylen Warren Needs a lot more touches. Not sure what coaches are looking at.
3. Matt Milano was a 5th rd pick. Id take him in a second. I doubt if the bills would trade straight up for our #1 pick MLB.
4. George Picket will be a force in the NFL if he can keep his act together .
5. Gentry could use more targets,, He's huge, catches the ball and runs north south.. Not taking anything away from Pat Friermuth.
6. Leal is a gem. Didnt see Loudermilk today, not sure his status. But leal was very good. Cam too, cant say much about the other DL.
7. Nice pick by wallace.

Pretty much the way I feel but not on Bradys last trip to Pitt. I so badly wanted that one.

Steelers were 14 point dogs for the first time in modern NFL history today. I’m thinking they eclipse that record this week.

I'm long past getting pissed off at the mediocre **** show we've witnessed the past several seasons. Management and ownership seemed content maybe making the playoffs and if we did getting the crap beat out of us the first game.

Sorry to say I'm having a hoot watching us hit what is hopefully rock bottom. As Black and Gold Bleeder said there were some positive takeaways from today. In the meantime here's hoping that this is FINALLY unacceptable to ownership and some meaningful changes are made to turn this team in the right direction. As I said in the game day thread - anyone who didn't see this coming, especially with TJ out, was just kidding themselves.
