Im gonna be honest

We aren't going to win much anyway. Bring in the cheapest option. At least Rooney will be happy.

We had many players leave. Maybe these guys really don't want to play under Tomlin like the media keeps telling us.

No free agent that lacks severe desperation WANTS to come to Pittsburgh. Players realize the schemes are kindergarten level.

Now if all the player seeks is $$$ there is always a chance to lure the FA here with an overpayment.

There is also a chance to get guys that are seeking one last contract, cuz then their production won’t hurt future earning potential.

Art and Mike are just fueling a dumpster fire that will soon be raging sans Khan/Weidl being able to draft their way out of the ineptitude…a very tall task to ask

Dang straight, it’s like They are in “one player” mode to get to the Super Bowl…………

Seems like long term planning isn’t here. I know a team can “turn things” around fast, but you have to be making better move than what we’ve been seeing.

Maybe we will all get a pleasant surprise and things will come together better than expected.

With the proper amount of peyote I’m sure I can envision a miraculous season unfolding soon.

To be fair, there haven't been many options for that better move. This was all set in motion when they decided to let Colbert do one last draft and reach for Pickett. That was the first domino, and we've been in recovery mode ever since. Even with Fields, who was all for signing, it was all boom or bust. He either puts it together and you have your QB, or he doesn't and you get your high draft pick.

And now, I don't know what the choices are. I truly feel that Wilson is off the table and they aren't even considering him. It's Rodgers or draft, to reset the cycle over again. Anyone we would trade for, would be along the same lines of Fields, a reclamation project. It's not easy to find a franchise QB, and a lot of teams panic, just look the Giants and the contract they gave Jones, Atlanta and the deal they have with Cousins, or even the Jets now with 49m in dead cap they are going to eat over the next few seasons.

I think the biggest issue we have going on right now, is they are unwilling to do a true rebuild.

This.

Rodgers and DK half to be fully aware of the caveman offense run here and its limitations. So they’re really coming for as much money as they can get and to play for a head coach who will let them do whatever they want

Sad

I totally hear yaz insaniti, it’s just crazy that fans as ourselves could do at least this ****-show and possibly do better. You’ve heard my RE-action VS PRO-action, seems like we are continuously on the re-action mode. It’s not just QBs either, B.Jones is a great example.

Thanks for all your great insightful post(s), appreciate yaz.
