Out of protest.

I am sick and disgusted with what the NFL has become. Was there a single play in which Harrison was NOT held? But it's Tom, so no call.

Shazier flagged for a perfectly clean hit on a ducking receiver. He game in at THIGH PAD LEVEL, and you flagged him for a head hit? **** YOU NFL.

I keep hearing how we played zone because we couldn't play man. We played zone because we would have been flagged for playing man, and our coaching staff knew it.

I ******* hate these rules. I hate this WWE fake football bullshit, and I'm boycotting the Super Bowl.

Hopefully I'll be done being pissed by draft time.
 
I think we loss because we were out coached and out played. I will say this though, their DBs were holding and grabbing all night long. Chung was hugging Jesse all over the field, no calls. I know players are allowed to use their hands within the first 5 yards of the LOS but man, they were literally holding players getting to their routes within those first 5 yards. That stuff has to be called.

Clear false start on pats center in the 1st qtr went uncalled. James was held at least twice from what I saw. Not to mention, the fumble that was clearly out before Brady was on the ground. The ruling on the field was that we recovered the ball but Brady was down before it came out. The refs ruled it as they couldn't tell who recovered the ball after the replay.. so that was strange.
 
The only way the league will get the hint is when people stop tuning in.

I am not watching because the Steelers sucked it up and were a embarrassment. From the coaching (all of them) down to the players(most of them).

Far as the refs go the obvious no calls were sickening and sure didn't help the cause. But the game planning and execution was so horrible, that nothing would have mattered if they called a good game. They were that bad.
 
Yes I shake my head always on holding cslls. Truth this coaching staffs lacks in game adjustments. Lacks teaching basics, our tackling is just plane bad. No leaders. You would think the owners could see this.

Always a big SB party at my bud's house in Wexford. Lots of people, lots of food, the menfolk start early making beer in the garage (drinking some too), smoking cigars, with a big screen rolled in, then he has a massive hi-def projection TV upstairs. The beer has to age so we tap the keg on Memorial Day weekend. We started this with the Steeler SB in '09 but we had such a good time that we do it every year no matter who is playing.
 
I'll root for the ATL birdies too. I am bothered that my fave UGA dawg is the starting center for the patsies though. David Andrews would look great in the black & gold
 
Honestly my love for the Steelers is only approached by my hatred of NE. The Giants will always be my #2 because of those two wins. The dirty birds are this year's second favorite. I actually don't mind them. My guess is they might get screwed. I really don't see how NE can hang with them. They made Roger's who was the hottest QB in the league look real average. My guess is they won't be lining up in soft zone neither.

Two things about the NFL. Your favorite team, and seeing teams that you hate get beaten/embarrassed.

Big Falcons fan in two weeks.
 
The Falcons are going to win that game, and people will be surprised? Their defense is young, fast and they will send multiple players to hit Brady. They may give up a couple big plays, but that *** clown isn't the same player when he's getting hit. They haven't seen an offense like Atlanta's. NE might need 40 to beat them.
 
I'm watching just to see Atlanta win. Go Falcons! Just don't ******* play zone and 10 yards off the wideouts all game long.
 
Traditional football thought is don't give up the big play. I don't think its like you can forfeit that cause you can't. however, I think with Manning and to a greater extent Brady you really have to turn that though around. He thrives on 10 to 15 yard passes. He eats up Tampa two. You gotta play it tough and live with three or maybe even 4 explosion plays. that is the only way you will get him off of his spot and cause turnovers. He will pick you apart like Tecmo Bowl all ****** day if you play passive. Christ Tomlin pisses me off. Pass the Tylenol.
 
Will probably skip watching the Super Bowl this year. Depends on if I'm home or traveling

That's fine, but I can't watch those ******** in yet another SB and listen to all the media heads slurp their cocks yet again. **** it. I'm taking my woman out and she'll be so damn thrilled to not have to watch football that I'm sure I'll get mine slurped.
