Get your plate and screws and we'll see you before the end of the season. They will need you for the post season.

I think they will have to dress Webb now especially for next week when we face Tampa who have 2 6"5wr in v-jac and Evans. I would double Jackson with cortex and Mitchell and try seeing if gay can use his technique grit vs to hopefully hold mike Evans in check.
Blake and McCain are just slot corners and to short to use vs Jackson and Evans.

If that was the end for Mr Taylor let me be the first to say he goes down as one of our better true cover CB's of all time... if he had hands he would have been at worse a pro bowler... He won us a lot of games over the years and frankly we never gave him the props he probably was due, focusing too often on his bad games and overlooking his great ones.

We need another corner....who's out there?

Tampa receivers are not even a fraction as much a concern as they would otherwise be due to the fact that adding Spike to their team would improve their QB play immensely.

Thanx Ike for being a hard worker, good tackler, and a great Steeler.
Wasn't always pretty but you were a good solid team player. Hope for a healthy recovery.

I've seen Spike in FL parking lots,,,,,,he is not a good late addition....

Seconded. Well said.

They had a hard cast on his arm when he came back onto the field. Are there any doctors in the house? Does that mean it was just a fracture and no surgery is needed? Or, do they just cut that thing off and do what they need to do?

There is no doubt Ike has been one of the best CB's that has put on the Black and Gold. His work ethic is 2nd to none.

Get well Swag T

I am probably the most vocal of Ike's critics here, I wanted him off the field, but not this way. That was a nasty break. There's no way he's coming back this season, and he's most likely done. Sorry it went down this way Ike.

Jarvis needs surgery

Shazier sprained MCL

Ike 6-8 weeks with probable compound break.

Costly win.

Next man up, Sean Spence at MLB. Moats at OLB. WTF do we do at DB

Champ Bailey cant be much of a dropoff from Ike...............New Orleans released him because he couldnt get on the field during preseason from an injury. If hes willing, give him a physical and see what hes got.

Draft an oft-injured gadget guy?

Why can't Ike play with a cast? Give it a couple weeks then let him play with a cast. Other players have done it. No CBs have but that's because they won't be able to catch. Ike can't catch anyway so that would not be a huge dropoff in his play. I'm being serious.

Depending on the break he may not be able to tackle. The ability to hold on after the catch is much bigger now than other times because big hits are not allowed.

Is Limas Sweed still playing in the CFL? He was pretty good at batting balls away too.
Get well soon Ike.
For sure I would bring in Champ Bailey for a physical and a workout. At least see what he's got left in the tank.

Shocked to see this response...

yeah, an underwhelming feeling, isn't it?

oh, we did draft a CB in the same draft, but let's forget about that.
