If we're going ALL IN - make this trade happen!!! Scary Terry officially ask to be traded

All this drafting a QB talk will be rendered moot after Rodgers wins a SB and decides to return for the repeat after realizing he and Tomlin are like peanut butter and chocolate…of course as the Steelers are cruising to the playoffs as the one seed at 14-2 and Howard steps in in week 18 to drop 5 TDs and 500 yards on the Rats knocking them out of playoff contention all doubts will be eliminated on the back of his 158.3 rating for the season looking like he’s Skenes in there dealing.

Tomlin won’t blink and will realize we have both the now and the future on the roster…he is well compensated to make all these sorts of things happen.

Don't bogart that joint dipped in peyote juice...lol.

If we're going to dream big, let's go undefeated season steamrolling through the playoffs to a superbowl blowout vs the Cowboys. Eat **** 72 dolphins!

We will then sell the most merchandise in the history of the NFL and take being a totally insufferable fan base to a virtuoso level.

I can hardly wait for my Steel Perfection Seventh Heaven T-shirt.

There's a reason that Ohio State cut ties with a successful starter who went 11-1 in 2023 and brought in Will Howard in that same transfer portal. Worked out pretty well for the Buckeyes, didn't it?

LaNorris Sellers is an answer to our QB prayers? Please. That guy is Anthony Richardson v.2.
Sellers isn't not as good as Anthony Richardson. He's JaMarcus Russell 2.0...

I mean, the Draft is in Pittsburgh and Penn State is sort of a local school... feels like the PR move they would make🤣

Really hoping after the failed KFP over draft they learned their lesson on the “it’s a cool story” “hometown kid” type of crap

Draft a QB with size, mobility and elite arm talent and have the infrastructure in place (good QB coach, solid OC, good OL coach, etc) to give the investment a chance to pay off.

Arch is gonna pick his team if he comes out... he probably wont

The steelers dont have the draft capital to move up to 1OA anyways... they probably are gonna move into the top 15 or just inside the top 10 and draft a Drew Allar type...

Chiefs moved from 27 to 10 to get Mahomes, swapped firsts and the following year first. If there is a will, there’s a way.

Joe Burrow had an unimpressive first year as starter at LSU. He was seen as a 6th round pick. Then he turned it on his last year. It helps to have Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson at WR too. But the point is, players improve. You can't lock in your opinion on players until the end.

Allar improved a ton last year. You also have to take into account that Allar has only been playing QB for like 5 years. He didn't start playing QB until his sophomore year of high school (I think). He's not one of these kids whose parents had him in QB camps since he's 8 years old.

You make great points, but the light REALLY has to come on for Allar. Not saying he needs a Joe Burrow 2019 season, but the inaccuracy and mental mistakes have to stop.

At this point he reminds me of Daniel Jones, tantalizing measurables, doesn’t have “it”.

Sellers isn't not as good as Anthony Richardson. He's JaMarcus Russell 2.0...

Way too early to make any kind of call on Sellers, he might need two more years in college. Too early for all of them, frankly.

Last year at this time the prospective first round QBs were Ewers, Beck, Sanders, and Allar.

Save your money from the seventh because next year you’ll be able to get the “Great Eight”, following another undefeated season led by Will Howard & two way player TJ Watt, our new FB pass catching TE & OLB.

Yes, our back to back undefeated seasons is a big ****-you dolphins.

SPECIAL NOTE: TJ also long snaps & runs back punts. He is also a gunner specialist on kick-offs. The ONLY plays he is not involved in is kick-off returns. He is also in charge of the red flag challenge and last two minutes of first 1/2 time out structuring. The Steelers are getting their money return on him.

Salute the nation

The more I think about it, I have liked the idea of Mclauren being in black and gold last year even more than I liked Aiyuk. Mclauren fits the mold of a Steeler in the way he plays on and off the field. The thought of having a skill set group of DK, Terry, Austin/Wilson and I'm going to throw Skowronek in there because he's a very good situational player and just a dude, your tight ends being Muth, Jonnu and Mt Washington with A-aron throwing the ball will make the Steelers easily one of the most dangerous offenses in the league. If they draft a quarterback in the first round next year, you're still in your window with a damn good receiving corps/TE group. The cost for this is in question. I don't see them giving up a first round pick. Terry is in his 30's and I agree if they can get away with a 2nd and a 4th or a 5th in the future...maybe. It'll be fun to wait and see what happens. This is probably just negotiation move for McLauren on the Commanders...With the offense not quite grooving right now, perhaps this should be considered.

the discussion was about whether or not we can give up our our collected 2026 draft capital for a WR2 because we think Howard is the answer based on what he’s done to this point.

There is no way we will know that by draft day 2026 because Tomlin won’t play him this year unless it’s an emergency even if he is good, because that’s what Tomlin does with most non first round rookies

I didn’t say Sellers was the answer, someone asked me who has more upside than Howard. I said Sellers does because he’s still in college and has a lot of great intangibles.

Sellers could blow up or be a bust like many of these guys in this class, but there’s little doubt it’s a great class and the Steelers need to make their move and probably trade up into the top 10 for a QB in 2026 after evaluating them all this season, not go all in and waste the draft capital on a team that got pummeled by all the elite teams last year

Otherwise it will be more of the same rediculous band aid approach to QB we’ve been seeing since Ben retired

If they are intrigued by Manning and think he stays in school another year maybe they trade some capital this year for the next draft and let Howard play a year.
