It will just prove the NFL is bullshit yet again.
 
I have my doubts that the suspension will be in effect on opening day. What I want to know and have been saying since the news of the investigation and Mr Bundchen being suspended is why no action against Belicheat. The NFL suspended Sean Peyton for a year even though the NFL said he knew nothing about the bounty program simplybecause he was the head coach and held responsibility for what went on in the locker room. If I am the Aints owner I am taking legal action against Roger Dodger on general principal.
 
If he plays, I hope the Steelers do something in protest before the game starts and then, as others have said, kick the **** out of him so he doesn't play for a while. Nothing serious, just enough to keep him out for as long as the suspension should have been - 6 games, minimum. I usually don't wish injury on any player but, in this case, Brady and the league would need to be taught a lesson in karma.

Fully agree cpollock. NO ONE can give a legitamit answer to the question posed. WHY NOT Billy boy? he is going to get nothing. Think about that........ nothing. I see decention amongst the rank, if this suspention is lifted or modified in a clearing way. One thing though, money can shut a lot of pie holes................... if you get my drift.

My firm belief is that drawn out decision on the appeal is to back it up as late as possible so that when he gets a quick initial injunction from the court it will take a year to wrangle that **** out. Goodell always loses in court. That way he gets the effect of what he wants (Brady playing) without any of the blowback. You cannot tell me he couldn't have rendered a decision by now. He could have reviewed the testimony 7 times by now easily. It's a conspiracy clearly. Watch it payout. My guess is that he maintains the full suspension and the decision cones out in another 2 weeks or more. This will allow enough time to get his injunction and still not have a final decision from the court before the end of the season so as to possibly suspend him during the stretch run.
 
what sucks is that he can file an injunction -- he should not be able to play even if there is one .. Difference in the ownership class acts and CHEATERS !!
 
I hope every player starts suing for suspensions - maybe even fines. I still think Harrision should have sued about the disparate fines.
 
Consipracy theory - Brady is allowed to play. They steelers magnanimously accept the ruling and support Goodell publicly. Pittsburgh is then chosen to host a future Super Bowl
 
I think originally, it started out as a delay dactic, just for the purpose of an injunction. I also think there is desention amongst the other teams, parlaying together in protest. You really don't think the colts / ravens / buffalo etc. are going to let this thing die out, do you. If it is an unjust sentencing, hell will break lose, UNLESS this time has been for the leauge to parlay the desentioned teams to an agreement.

this was literally what i thought would happen since it first broke. I really dont think Brady has a case that is winnable, but he can absolutely file it, then drag out a hearing until later in the season, dropping it only when it best suits his needs
