If Ben is out, what's your Game plan?

I have a feeling that Ben will play. But lets does not. Do you want Vick or Jones?

I'd prefer Jones, but have a very short and silent leash on him. An offensive game plans of heavy runs, 2TE sets, some play action, and some screens would be wise. I'd be okay with a deep sideline pass to Bryant when the safeties are cheating up, but limit deeper passes over the middle. Heavier use of Miller in the passing game. A reversre run on 2nd down with Bryant could produce a big play. I 'd even be okay with letting Vick run a wildcat play or two.

Two TD's + a two Boswell FG's could get us to 20+ points. The Defense, of course, would need to hold Manning down. I think Manning is pretty much done anyway.

Plan? Make golfing plans, move focus to next season.

Have to think the weather played a role in this. They didn't want to turn the ball over. It's hard to throw deep with a slick ball. You want to play to win, but you don't want to play stupid.

Combine the weather conditions with the fact that the Bengals were the best defense in the NFL at preventing long pass plays and our game plan had to be to work the underneath of the defense. And don't forget how the game played out...they had 2 first downs in the first half and no points after 3 quarters. McCarron wasn't doing enough to justify the risk of throwing deep.

AV at QB and McCullers at RB. Run read option all day. Bring Heath in motion and have him throw off of a reverse or pitch occasionally. Punt on 2nd downs, they will never expect it!

If Ben and/or if AB are out, then they are out. After the meltdown after the Ravens game I was rehearsing my Jim Mora "Playoffs?" speech.

Come hell or high water, there will be a game next Sunday and the Steelers will be playing. Landry Jones was a hero twice this season....Granted, he didn't do **** when he started, but there have been flashes..... I will be rooting and drinking

But no matter how it goes, win or lose, I have this to cheer me up if things don't go our way.

I would play both. Put in a read option package for Vick. Make the Broncos prepare for everything I can.

To bad Vick can't read a defense so he doesn't really have the option part. He has lost 3 steps and can not hit the side of the barn. The only option Vick should have in this game is which end of the bench he wants to sit at.

I'd rather have Tebow that Vick any day. Though I did want Mallet. I think he has more potential than Jones.

Are you ******* kidding us with this, troll? Just YESTERDAY you told us it was doubtful that Ben will be able to play.

Coach has feelings. Different ones every day. They are expressed on our message board as they permeate his frontal lobe thus causing all of our medulla oblongata's to go into spasms sometimes causing heavy breathing or high blood pressure when reading them...

OK sure smh. I'm just trying to win a football game don't care who or how it gets done..they both suck. But only one has had any success in this league. Not just one play where he threw a slant and the WR did the rest. Again they both suck but they are different. Different enough to where the Broncos will have to practice totally different to get ready for each. After the season Vick and Landry can go **** themselves but right now we need to win a game.

If Ben is not in? I got a bottle of Glenlivet Founders Reserve as a gift. I will probably end it.

If it is announced that Ben is not playing the spread will move to double digits within an hour and it would be a total beat down for either of our backups against that defense. Some may get worked up by this but Ben is the Steelers. When he is in there they have a shot against any team in the league....when he's not and the Steelers are not in Heinz Field, it's an automatic loss. Dude is a legend.

Um, Al needs a reading lesson. I said IF the report is true. I never said Ben won't play.

See post #14 of the thread that you started called "One quick and easy move that Tomlin should make". You make the statement "With Ben likely out, big penalties must not happen." You clearly took the Bob Holtzman report at face value because it suits your troll-like agenda.
