If Ben is out, what's your Game plan?

It's just the way they play defense. They have the CBs to play press man. They have the #1 pass defense (by yardage) but also allow only 83 yards per game on the ground. Even if Ben plays, we will need turnovers from the defense. It's been that way all year. We may have to win the turnover battle by 3-0
 
Honestly, I stack Antonio and Bryant and just have whomever chuck it deep and hope for the best... the Broncos play a ton of man and I think our recievers are able to fight for the ball... there will be picks, but with Landry Vick playing... there are going to be picks anyhow...:/

I just saw on Fox that Ben has torn ligaments.
 
Any sprain is a "tear" to a ligament - he has a sprained shoulder

He'll play if he can throw the ball at all
 
Whe the team is downplaying injuries, the guy is probably out... when the team is saying all sorts of things making it sound worse than it is, he likely plays... its all gamesmanship... Hell Landry jones could be announced as the starter and it wouldn't surprise me to see Ben actually play the game at the last second
 
Even when Ben and Williams were healthy we couldn't just line up and run it vs Denver, so no matter who the QB is we need to spread our offense and attempt to run from the spread.

I think you misread what I wrote. Check again, you're much better on the second time around.
 
Can't recall the article but either Haley or Tomlin was saying they called plays in Cinci to stay conservative and not go downfield. That is the biggest bunch of bullshit! You play to your strengths, not the defenses, and let them try to stop you. I hate how don't come out and play to WIN! You do not come out and play conservative and try not to lose. Hate, hate, hate! Stupid, stupid, stupid!

That's exactly what we did at Baltimore.
 
F Ben does not play, I start Jones and go with Muphy as the backup. Would have cut Vick the first time Jones went into the game.
 
Flea flickers, lots of flea flickers. Tecmo Super Bowl play calling special baby.
 
Denver pass rush will eat Landry jones alive. Maybe Vick can run around buy some time but he'll turn it over. Ben don't play... We don't win. M
 
Shoot Vick and install field turf.

Have to think the weather played a role in this. They didn't want to turn the ball over. It's hard to throw deep with a slick ball. You want to play to win, but you don't want to play stupid.
 
Throw the game winning bomb to Jacoby Jones with less than a minute left. Worked for the Rats. :)
 
If Ben is not playing. Run it. And quick dump offs to the RB. Maybe short middle passes to the TE's, slot. Run a fast tempo offense if and when Landry finds a rhythm. As for the defense. Blitz the fock out of Manning. Play up and bump the receivers
 
If Ben is hurt and can't play I go with Jones and pray he can do something, anything, against the Donkeys D. If Ben, AB, and Williams are out I go with Vick and run some hybrid version of the wish bone, wild cat, and pistol offense.

I thought I better ad the "why" in here. Because our only shot would be to catch them unprepared and be able to put some long drives which lead to points early before they are able to adjust then hope our D can hang on and the offense can keep the ball long enough to keep us in the game until the end.
