Ayers isn't on the roster since Eli is in his spot. I was surprised Eli didn't get on the field. By all reports he was healthy, but he did not play. Since Landry fell in love with short passes, you would think having Eli out there who is supposed to be able to catch short passes across the middle and make people miss to gain more yardage, would have helped keep drives alive.
