the Steelers need to claim Ayers off the Bears PS and have him play in place of JuJu against the Ravens....

Brown is absolutely the best WR in the league, and while Bryant has made a few plays he is not a big weapon yet....and Eli has not been playing well at all. JuJu will be missed next week

I'd just play Bryant and remind him that he's playing for that big trade or FA money.

but I have a sense of humor......anyone with half a brain could tell from the title this was a tongue in cheek post.....
 
Not sure what happened to Eli, but I do think Ayers would be better at this point
 
I agree, provided AYERS is healthy and actually humbled a little towards this team. ****** would get a SB ring if he sticks........... But he would just be a short term deal. Great thought though......... And hell yea he would be a heck of a lot better than Eli.


As for Coolie being an *******.......well just know Coolie is only as hard as the people around him drive him to be.

What's Hines Ward doing next weekend. I'm sure he has at least 10 snaps left in him. He could hit slants all day in this hitless league.

I actually liked what I saw in Ayers brief time on the field (and I don't like Coolie at all). I think this would be a great move. Even if MB plays well, he's gone next year, so it would be prudent to give Ayers a shot to replace him since he has a head start system-wise versus anyone else they could bring in. He can't be any worse than Eli and MB have been so far this season. Why not?
 
I hear Dri Archer has been working on his route running. Could kick the tires and see if he has the talent to put it up in the slot. He looked good in Black and Gold, just sucked balls as a RB.
Maybe......?

A PS player is going to come in and be better than Bryant, Rogers, Hunter and DHB? As much as I thought Ayers showed some signs, he couldn't even make the Bears roster. No chance.

The problem is he refused to sign to our ps because of a perceived slight... and you don't get to claim guys off of a PS... they have to voluntarily sign with you.... he isn't signing for one week of work...
