I feel dirty... Monday Night Football

Who’s a hater? We can see what the guy does. Yes, he’s good. We don’t have to hear the non stop gushing over the top worship from the announcers. They should act like they’ve seen a QB play well before, damn. This is the first year the guy has done this. It’s great. But they’ve crowned him tonight. Let’s not put the gold jacket on him just yet, ESPN. And for this game where he’s so great, basically the same total as Bens second half yesterday.

maybe ESPN going over the top to praise Allen since one of their writers said he was rooting against Allen because people who like him also like Trump and dogs.

Buffalo and Baltimore are probably the hottest two teams in the AFC right now.

did you just start watching football games this year? what, exactly, do you expect in-game commentators to do when the dude is having a ridiculously good season, and game? When Ben was tearing it up during his rookie year of 2004 and booth guys were slobbering all over him, were you sitting there saying, "Gosh! Wish these guys would shuddup already, we KNOW he's good!.." . . .? Of course you weren't. Stop acting like them talking up a big-time player (who's not a Steeler) is a personal affront to your fanhood.

Ravens played one good team(browns) on their 4 game win streak. They’ll cool with better competition.

is baltimore hot or did their schedule just get easy? Since their loss to the steelers, the ravens have beat Dallas, Browns, Jags, and Giants. Browns are the only good team and Cleveland put up 42 on them.

I think another part of the ravens recent success is they have scaled back the offense. They tried to make Jackson more of a passer and he struggled. Now it seems that are back to look for Marquise, then Andrews, then take off running.

There's no great team in the NFL this year. All teams are flawed.

um, yeah, so baltimore's one of the hottest teams right now. nothing you said dispelled SteelerFan448's comment. He didn't mention anything about WHOM the ravens have played, or the quality of their opponents.

That list represents one third of the Steelers' wins, too. They've both had easy schedules this year, each having beaten the Eagles, Bengals, and Texans as well.

and the steelers were hot when they played that stretch too

Ravens won four in a row by an average of 15.5 points per game. Jackson is in full running form and as a team they've run for 933 yards (233 ypg) over that stretch.

Back to the Steelers, yeah, they were hot earlier in the season during that stretch. They capitalized on beating those four cupcakes at the start of the season with wins over Cleveland, Tennessee, and Baltimore in a three week stretch with the latter two being on the road.

I know thats what i should be hoping for. but no not making the playoffs is not good enough. embarrass the G.o.a.t coach on nation tv that would be nice

He's the GOAT when he had Brady. When he doesn't, not so much.

To be fair, I don’t know how they won 6 games with Cam at QB. Dude literally cannot throw anymore, I don’t know what happened to his arm.

Suffered the fate of a lot of big mobile QB's - body just got beat up.

i think the pats would have the same record with Brady this year. That's why he bailed on them.

whole bunch of whiney ******* in this thread

Any day the Pats****** get beat is a good day.
According to what I read elsewhere here, the best the Steelers can do is 2nd seed and the worst they can do is 3rd seed, so I'm not really worried about it.
Frankly I'll be shocked if Shades does better than his usual first-round playoff loss anyway.
