People bitching about Brown.Whats this about...........
100% agree.I don't think anyone here said he's not great, but if he's running wrong routes on purpose because he's not getting the ball, how can any Steelers fan back him?

Yeah since Ron Cook is always right.
It's pretty clear you have a hard on for AB. This team goes no where without him next year.
That's the point, the only way Cook knows this is if someone told him. Ron Cook likes AB, calls him the best wr in the NFL, this isn't something he'd write if he wasn't sure it happened, that's one hell of an accusation.
I can't show you because I don't have the playbook or coaches game film.
The play that ended the KC game basically, everyone credits Haley for getting Ben out of the pocket, but Ben had to hold the ball and scramble right because AB was supposed to run across the face of the LB, instead he ran behind him forcing Ben to hold the ball longer, now it all worked out AB made the catch and we won. What if Ben gets sacked there waiting for AB to clear the LB, Ben is getting killed on here and everywhere else.
Why isn't ok to say Brown is a great player, but an immature douche?
Yikes, there is so much wrong with this post I don't know where to start. You've obviously found exactly what you've been needing: supporting "evidence" that allows Big Ben to remain 100% infallible and the blame for any lack of perfection to be shifted elsewhere. It's what you do: your favorite players are always perfect and blameless. It's a weird way for a grown man to look at the world, but we all have issues.

Yet you still have not disputed one thing that he said in that post. You teach high school WR, RB, and TE to cross the face of the defender so you do not make it easy for the defender to jump the route or get the inside release on the ball. The end of the KC game was a prime example of something good coming from something bad. Ben rolled out only after he received pressure from holding onto the ball. It was not a designed roll out play. Why did he have to hold the ball...because he had to wait to get separation after he went behind the LB in coverage. Had he crossed the face it is a quick timing throw and a TD.
You guys are both wrong. AB didn't do anything wrong on that play. It was a case of the Chiefs running a defense that they did not expect to see in that situation, and both Ben & AB reacting appropriately. No one wearing black and gold expected the Chiefs to opt for that kind of zone defense including dropping Justin Houston in coverage.
I can easily believe AB occasionally gets lazy in his route running. I have little doubt about that. In fact, I'd be surprised with all the double coverage and the near certain knowledge that he's not going to see the ball that he doesn't sometimes "round the corner" here and there.
But I would be shocked to find that Brown intentionally ran the "wrong" route. He may see something mid route that he interprets as an opportunity for himself and for Ben. Hell, 1/4 of Ben's career is **** just happening... Why would it be weird for a guy who's not really in the play anyway to go out and create something?
But I refuse to believe that Brown would purposefully sabotage a play just to be a *****. I can't believe that.
