Not sure Ben would get my vote as MVP of Steelers. I think AB might be.
I love AB but this team is nothing without Ben.

I'm sure Ben would be content with SBMVP. Hell, it comes with a free truck for crissake!Cam is the MVP. I'll settle for Ben being the SB 50 MVP!
I would argue Ben is nothing without AB.

Ya because Ben was **** with the likes of. Holmes, Wallace, Burress, Ward ect. get a ******* clue, Ben makes every receiver he plays with look all world it's just that AB is head and shoulders above the rest, but make no mistake without Ben AB wouldn't get a 1000 yards or 80 catches.
Newton beat 14, Ben beat 9. Newton's receivers are Ginn Jr., Funchess, and Norwood. Ben has Brown, Bryant, and Wheaton. Gotta give the nod to Newton. Having said that, we can beat Carolina.make a list of the qbs newton has beat this year and make a list of the qbs ben has beat this year there lies your answer. ben shouldn't be in talk for mvp
Someone will have to explain to me why Cam Newton has the MVP wrapped up. He has a whopping 100 and change more passing yards then Ben who missed four games. And I'm not even pimping Ben for it. He missed four games. But Russell Wilson has more than 10 points more on the passer rating. If this is about winning ok, but what was the Panthers schedule? Their marquees wins were against the Packers at home (and the Packers aren't great) and Seattle on the road who was on a down slide at the time. The rest of their schedule is pure junk wins against one of the worst divisions in the league and their out of conference games that were against the worst. I will be shocked if they win one playoff game. They certainly won't beat Seattle who is peaking and has the formula for January. February Football.
I love AB but this team is nothing without Ben.
I've never once said that Ben should be MVP this season. What I will say is this. When Ben has been there for the winning aspect, they made it about stats and gave it to someone else. Last year he was near the top of literally every passing category of meaning and he never even got a look. Newton's yardage is in the middle of the pack and I will always take yardage over TDs thrown. Why? How many times has Ben thrown them down to the 5 and someone runs it in. TD passes are largely meaningless to me so long as the team is scoring. Cam Newton has beaten the Hawks on the last play on a bad day for them, he beat the Packers at home but they aren't among the five or six best teams. The first really good team they play, Sea Hawks, Arizona or possibly even the PAckers will be their last game this season. You're putting a lot more thought and analysis into this than the voters will and you can't use missed games as an argument for several reasons.
