The #Browns are expected to sign OT Chris Hubbard to a 5-year deal worth $37.5M with nearly $18M guaranteed, source said. More help up front for Cleveland.

Haley is going to turn cleveland into Pittsburgh north by west before it is all said and done...

you have to receive A Lot of money to be part of that dumpster. Hubbard, an adequate player that Heyward will turn upside down.

He costs the same that we paid Villanueva no? Rather keep Villy

Probably a 5th round comp pick but might be a 4th depending on playing time. Also depends on who we sign as free agents.

he's average at best was surrounded by ALL Pro's, is better suited as a OG average RT at his size I I am Butler would blitz Dupree and Vince on a loop as Dupree is to fast and if he is on track can like last 2016 buffalo game get 3 sacks in both games vs. Hubbard, vast adv. in length power and speed.

I think we'd be lucky to get a 5th for him

Wow....that is a bunch of change they gave him. It probably somehow made Bell increase his rate now.

I know how bad cleveland is but it always turns my stomach to see a Steeler go to a rival....

I'd be OK with BELL going there for the next two years 1st round pick....................

Salute the nation

Great deal for Hubbard. I don't like that he went to a division team, but do like that he cashed in after developing into a solid player.

Translation, please.

Good for him, glad to see anyone get paid.

That's why we couldn't keep Hubbard. He is a starter in this league, and he will be starting in Brown Town. Love the contract. It really helps out our comps for next year.

Maybe Haley will want to trade for Bell now?

Wow almost $8MM per.....Clowns are eating up alot of their cap space on players instead of building through the draft. Jarvis Landry, Tyrod Taylor, Chris Hubbard, Carlos Hyde, Kenny Britt, Kenny Stephenson, Darren Fells, Chris Smith. The annual salary for these players this year is $56.1 Mil.

Now I know The Clowns had some cap room but JFC.....none of those players with maybe the exception of Jarvis Landry and Chris Hubbard are worth a damn! Seeing them take Carlos Hyde when they could have had a Rolls Royce in Saquon Barkley with the #1 overall pick shows you how ******* dumb they are! According to some their projected cap is $116Mil but they've already gobbled up $56Mil of that cap space with also ran players

And lets remember everything....coach, player, trainer....etc....SUCKS AT LEAST 50% MORE IN CLEVELAND! YES THAT'S A FACT!

Coach Mike Munchak is why Hubbard was more than serviceable, I think. We'll see if he's as good on the Browns.

Hubbard got paid. He's not worth 7 million a year, but at least we can get a comp pick for him in 2019 so in a sense I'm glad the Clowns over paid for his services.

Picking up Carlos Hyde doesn't necessarily mean they are going to pass on Barkley. Surely they wouldn't do that. Would they?

Browns tackle Joe Thomas retires after 11 seasons!
