How We Beat The Pats*****

Execute on offense. Punch the ball in to the endzone.

TEE OFF ON BRADY.

If we must take a couple of early 15 yarders for smashing that Uggs wearing sissy into the ground so be it. Keep up the scare all day to keep him rattled.

Let Ben call the plays and run the no huddle.
Slash Butlers tires so he can't make it to the stadium.
Take away Tomlins challenge flags
Keep Eli Rogders on the inactive list.

Sorry in advance as I haven't read the thread. But here are Aggie's keys to the game:
1) MAN UP ON THE OUTSIDE. I don't care if you don't think the guys have the talent. Do it anyway
2) PRESSURE BR*DY UP THE MIDDLE. Javon Hargrave, Vince Williams - I'm looking at you specifically. Put him on his *** early and often
3) Keep Spence/Moats/Matakevich off the field. No disrespect to those guys, but we need as much speed on the field as possible. I'd much rather play Wilcox as an extra LB
4) On offense, continue to take what the defense is giving. This has been the difference between "below average Ben" and "superhero Ben" in recent weeks. He's not forcing anymore. Continue this.
5) Stay patient with the ground game on offense. We cannot panic and abandon the run unless we get down big. Le'Veon will be lethal to this defense if Ben is obeying point #4.
6) Do not let Butler take AB out of the game. Call plays designed for AB early and often, even if it means just quick screens or slants or outs. He stays more engaged through the game when he is involved from the jump. Plus, he needs to make a statement early that last year was a fluke, and he will not be denied again.
7) Stay balanced. Yes I just said to keep AB engaged, but that will be a lot easier if JuJu, Jesse, Martavis, Vance, and Le'Veon are also making plays when their numbers are called. The *s thrive off taking away your most dangerous weapon. Show them that they can't expect to just bracket AB and their problems are solved. This offense should be a nightmare for them. Prove it
8) Do not give the game away on special teams. It can be easy to fall into a trap of focusing on stopping Br*dy and scoring on their defense, but there's a third dimension to the game where they will absolutely murder you if you drop your guard. We must stay crisp and execute on all coverage, returns, kicks, and punts.
9) Avoid the backbreaking penalties. Play disciplined, professional ball - meaning no nonsense after the whistle. It's hard to predict ticky tack holding or PI calls, but one thing that is almost entirely in our control is not making boneheaded plays after the whistle.
10) Stay healthy. Please

I like this, except I don't know who Corey is

The best way for us to win this week is for Haley to miss the game and let Ben go no huddle the entire game. Having JuJu back will help. And, possibly the biggest thing is to take Bryant to the eye doctor and get him fitted for contacts so he can see the ball when he gets 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. Dude has totally lost it on the deep balls. Run enough to keep them honest but basically we need to score, score and score some more. Run, run, pass will not work.

I agree 100%

like, totally man

Just pray our D can show up for a play or two and make them kick a couple FGs along the way - I expect nothing from the D

51-48

Steelers win!

You forgot to put possibly our best OLB on the field. Where is Watt??????????????? He can cover better than Williams and Dupree.

Brady has no fear of our defense. That has to change. The Fins gave the blueprint on how to beat the Cheats. Question is, are our coaches smart enough to pick up on that....I don't think so.

None of our coaches over the last 16 years have given any indication of that. I fully expect the Lebeau/Butler patented 10 yard cushion and Br*dy throwing 8 yard passes all goddamn day.

4). Pressure *bwady up the middle. Blitz his *** often.

Our front 3 hasn't done it yet this year. Might as well start this week.

I can't believe Tomlin goes out and gets Spence and immediately plays him. The guy is ****, he was let go for a reason and than you go pick him back up ?..LOL. He hasn't played in weeks. Sensabaugh is going to get ripped apart. Isn't that bad enough. Steelers have an eye for offensive players, but when it comes to defense. They don't know what the **** they are doing. Its a complete disaster.

We don't need and shouldn't use ILB's vs NE anyways

Oh yeah, this I agree with. But we'll need them against run heavy teams. And I have a feeling Belichick is gonna try to get cute and pound their RBs against us all game long, since that has been what works against us all year

Probably but I don't think NE can line up and do what Baltimore did, they don't have a RB like Collins. Like I mentioned in the other thread, that's a reason this game is so important, it knocks NE down to #3 if we win and hopefully puts them on a crash course with #6 Baltimore and the going to #2 Jax, force NE to deal with those run heavy teams

Stopping Deion Lewis is a key in this game

People think Brady is perfect, makes no mistakes. It's not true. He makes plenty of mistakes. The thing is, he only makes mistakes under pressure. Few teams can pressure him by rushing 4. Those that can, have success. It's no coincidence the Giants beat them twice in the SB with their pass rush, and that the Dolphins just beat them with Wake and Suh.

The problem is most teams can't get pressure with 4. They need to send 5 or 6 and most teams are afraid to do that vs the Pats. They try to hedge their bets by using "safe" blitzes with a zone coverage. Problem is Brady gets rid of the ball quickly and his backs and WRs are great at finding the holes in the zones.

Look at how many bad throws Brady had last week vs Miami. They kept getting pressure up the middle and Brady was just throwing the ball away much of the time. He does not like to get hit.

I think the key is to rush 5 or 6 on nearly every play. I think Burns can handle Cooks. Cooks is a *****. He's just a fast guy. Play him physical and he goes away. Hogan is gimpy.

I want to see Hargrave shooting the gap, crowd the Center and push him back. Bring the ILBs. It disrupts Brady.

I also think the Pats will try to control the game by running. They know they can't stop the steelers offense so they will try to control the ball. Play the run on the way to the QB. Without Shazier, the ILBs aren't good enough athletes to read and react. So force the issue. Let them attack.

Playing so aggressively on defense probably means a few big plays but they give those up anyway. The pressure could lead to some missed throws that end drives and a few turnovers as we saw vs the Dolphins.
