At the end of November and into December, good football teams win regardless of who they are playing. If the Steelers don't do that, then any sort of playoff aspirations don't make sense.
With 5 games left, and three against winning teams, and the other two against the bungles and stains, it seems like beating the Rats is the top priority, and then winning at least one of two against the Gints and Jills is necessary.
If the Steelers can't win 2 of 3 from the Rats, Gints and Jills, I don't like the chances of beating anyone from the AFC West in the WC game.
Going 4-1 in the last 5 games doesn't make a 10-6 team into a SB team, but it could provide the right momentum at the right point in the season, almost like 2005.
