I'm in Cope's corner on this but alas am afraid we are seeing signs of wear from over useage. Beleive me I hope that I am so wrong. I hope CMVLT will use him a little more sparingly if the oppertunity is there. Until then I pray he holds together for the 7th haul.

What's more punishing? Running the ball through the line and getting gang tackled by linemen and linebackers or catching a pass and getting hit by safeties and corners? I believe (not sure) his carries have been falling as Ben's passing attempts go up the last few games.

As much as he needs

Run him hard for 2 more weeks, and he gets 2 weeks off before our first playoff game.
I agree. I dont see the 1st seed as paramount but the bye is absolutely necessary. Without a major injury you give him two weeks and probably AB with his turf toe as well. I could really see them having to play full against the Browns to preserve the bye or on the chance for a one seed. Unfortunately its just more wear. Only way they avoid is win Sunday and Christmas.

I think it would have been a wise move to sign D angelo Williams as a backup you can trust in a crucial situation. Even at his age he's a big upgrade over anyone not named Bell in our backfield. Besides Bell the Steelers eye for runningbacks has been way off for the past decade plus. Since Willie Parker

I saw something on face book where he admits to being a little dinged up. I wish he did not say that. Now other teams know.

Every every down player is dinged up. He didn't say anything surprising.

Every team that's relevant already knows. When your involved in a professional sport that has everyone's eyes on you, believe me everyone knows. The thing is if we are at an advantageous point in the game, will CMVLT be wise enough to pull him???? I think Coach Tomlin will and Bell will make it to hoist #7.

Win this ******* game and if Jax loses home field is clinched then he can rest. It seems as of late most of his touches have been in the passing game, so he's not getting hit by the bigs as much

Its hard to tell exactly what he meant. For all we know, someone told him during the broadcast he could be the first guys since the 1950's to lead the NFL with a below 4.0 yards per rush, hence the I'm a little dinged up excuse. Sarcasm :)

I don't think Tomlin was happy. He doesn't like social media posts. Never tell the opposition your a bit banged up, as the defensive sharks will smell blood in the water.

Bell is fine. When I hear him... he is HUNGRY! He wants a SB badly. Hungry trumps "dinged."

Bell will have a great game. Brown gets his. Bryant (with this officiating crew) gets two long PI's.

Steelers win. Jags win out. Cheats get stuck in #3 seed and need to play Ravens in round 1... Steelers get #1 seed and home throughout.

God you must be tired pushing that heavy *** agenda day after day. Can you make it to the finish line??

The way I see it Bell hasn't exactly put in any hard work in the playoffs since he's been on the team.

If he can't dig deep and give it 110%, then he can walk.

I don't think that will be an issue. I think he will ball out the next couple games. Remember he's playing for a big pay day, be it from the Steelers, or 29 other teams...everyone is watching.

It's also a good idea to get Conner some more touches too.

Bell only has 63 carries total in the last 4 games. The Boston ******** are 30th against the run, of course they are going to stack the box early as it will be Bell NOT Brown who will be their #1 fear.

This is the game where you give them a heavy dose of Bell , but AFTER you back them off with the passing game as Coryea has mentioned.

There are many here who don't believe we can beat them....not only can we beat them, we can dominate them with all the offensive options we have that they don't.

Almost all the talking heads are not giving us a chance, bullshit.
