How many games does DK get

Don’t know if the fan called him that or not. But it’s on record that DK reported this guy in In Seattle so there’s no way this was just innocent. This guy probably wants to provoke him to sue him or something.

Guy is a stalker.
DK didn’t actually punch him, just grabbed his shirt then shoved him.
Lamar did the same thing with no suspension or fines.

Suspension should be out of the question. DK should get a restraining order.
 
1. Where was Steelers security? We know Big Dom from Philadephia would've been in the headline instead of the player.
2. If the NFL felt it was suspension worthy, they should've removed DK from the game immediately. They had instant access to the video and did nothing.
 
You see the video for yourself what a ****** idiot. He's 15 yards from where he should be. It's ALL on DK Metcalf. Every bit. And he may well have sunk their season. Which in my opinion would have been one more game. Their best hope has to be GB beating Ravens then it wouldn't matter they can play backups.
 
What’s more surprising to me is the amount of people who not only thought that fan called DK the N word, but that should excuse physical violence. Then again, why would I be surprised nowadays.

He didn’t go over the rail. He got lightly tapped. My lord the tragedy. This man may have gotten a bruise.

I can’t defend either one of them.

To the fan: buying a ticket doesn’t give you the right to talk **** to someone to the point he blows up, if DK would have landed that punch and hurt him, I wouldn’t feel sorry for him, he probably would have deserved it

To DK: it wasn’t like he was in your face, you had to take a LONG walk to that dude, in the middle of a game you’re paid millions to play. Control yourself be a man, you’d better hope to god we get in the playoffs…the team might not do anything to you but the fans won’t forget it if we miss the playoffs

To this front office : the lack of discipline has caught up with you: AB, Deebo, Johnson, Pickens, Ramsey, Metcalf, it will continue until someone puts their foot down. It’s like we’re the Marvin Lewis Bengals, if Tomlin won’t put a stop to it Rooney should. Just more symptoms of the disease infecting this organization-it’s embarrassing
 
There is nothing that anyone could ever say to me that would merit Metcalf's half a million dollar fine. Nothing.
That is just part of the gig. Fans talk ****, then return to their miserable everyday life.
Meanwhile, I am making 30 million bucks a year. Say whatever you want to me... idgaf.
Metcalf is the idiot here in my book.

So it's two games, that magically align with the possibility of the Ravens and Steelers playing for the North and a playoff birth in week 18... :rolleyes:

But lets look at the precedent that was set with Lamar Jackson week 1 in Buffalo. Fan pushes Lamar, and Lamar retaliates by shoving the fan with both hands, knocking the fan back into his seat. No fine, no suspension. Then we look at DK, fan clearly says something way more than calling him by his full name (which by the way, is his instagram name, so that didn't set him off like the fan is claiming), DK grabs the fans shirt and shoves him back. DK gets a two game suspension.

The claim that this is two different scenarios is only on the surface. Based on what the league released, "players may not enter the stands or otherwise confront fans at any time on game day and ... if a player makes unnecessary physical contact with a fan in any way that constitutes unsportsmanlike conduct or presents crowd-control issues and/or risk of injury, he will be held accountable."...both DK and Lamar are equally at fault and should share the same punishment. Both were clearly wrong, as were the fans in both cases. But to have two VASTLY different punishments is just ridiculous...
 
I know tomlin and the Steelers organization are going to give any disciplinary actions to metcalf. I'd say let the two game suspension be upheld and then not have him play another down this season and then let him go bye bye. Trade, release, whatever. Total hothead and will never learn.
