How long will Brady be suspended?

How long will Brady be suspended?

And florio over at pft has now become Brady's attorney.

Geesh, how much is Florio going to milk from this story. He's like George Lucas squeezing every time from Star Wars.

He got 4 games (Appealed to 2 to be sure), they lose their first next year, another in 2017 and a million dollar fine. I have to admit I didn't think they'd get ****. Amazing how the league listens to the public outcry on everything they do.

Not enough. I'm actually ok with 4 for Brady (though I thought it should be at least 6), but where the hell is Bellicheat's suspension? This is a multiple time offender. Peyton was suspended for a year because, per Goodell "ignorance is not an excuse". So tired of this double standard bullshit for the Pats. Peyton should immediately sue the NFL and Goodell personally, and the other 31 teams need a grow a pair and demand Goodell's *** be FIRED!

Tired of the NFL in general. GodAll is a communist ******* and plays his favorites. The owners all fall in line for the mighty coin they get. Peasants just play and the piss bucket boys pay money to watch.

Oh well. Hoping, Suh, destroys the *ats forever.

Gee, I was gonna vote 4 games but for some reason it didn't allow me. lol.

If you listen to the radio, you would think that the Patriots have never been in trouble before deflategate. ..

The media should be talking about these points:

1.Spygate

2. Mangini turning in the Pats, because he knew that he had just been ******. He knew he had been ******, because he use to coach in NE, and he knew how effective the taping was.

3.Josh Mcdaniels trying to form his own Spygate in Denver, when he was the head coach there.

4. Brady knowingly involved in deflating balls, while fully aware of league rules.

5. Ray Farmer?

excellent points. karma

Seems to me to be the perfect set up for appeal.
Most people thought they wouldn't get ****, so any reduction in the "heavy handed penalty" will be fine.

4 games reduced to 2 (maybe 1)
Million dollar fine reduced to 500k
Keep the first round pick, lose the 2017 late round but get a comp pick.

I don't see any reduction on appeal because of spygate. This is the 2nd offense by the Cheats.

They can't appeal the team penalty because its not part of the CBA. Kraft would need to sue the league. Only Brady can appeal his penalty. I suspect this will get reduced to 2-3 games. To me you give him the longer suspension, 6 games, then let him appeal it down to 4. But you also know this is the league's golden boy. They don't want him missing 4 weeks. As long as he isn't there week 1 I will take the trade off with Bell sitting too.

I just want to say, I am loving every minute of it!

In all honesty, Pats fans ought to be fairly stoked about this punishment. yes the 1st rounder hurts, But Brady got toplay in the superbowl while the league erred on the side of caution, and, as ESPN points out, they didnt destroy their chance at a repeat. 4 games does not make a season. Roethlisberger was out for that long and the Steelers got to the superbowl in 2010 anyhow. Even if they went 0-4 with brady out, they could go 12-0 with him in and still contend... they have had undefeated regular seasons before, after all....

They all sang in the Catholics boys choir if u look at the news, the truth is they were actually the Catholics prostituting out 12 year olds

The tuck rule wasn't illegal. It was a bad rule that was correctly called within the definition of the rule. They lucked out on that one, and it obviously wasn't planned.

Honestly, the tuck rule is the Pats Immaculate Reception, as it launched them into a culture of winning and started them down the path of superbowl champions.
