I like Blake as a depth player, but if he doesn't go, there will be too much temptation to continue to give him a significant role for the defense.

What kills me about it is how can this coaching staff continuously trot him out on the field? He wasn't much of a player when healthy and now that he's got that broken hand or whatever he's a piss poor tackler. They're dressing Grant every week now it seems and actually have a pick invested in Grant so why the hell don't you atleast see what he is capable of? In Blake, you have nothing invested except his salary for this year which isn't much anyway. The snap counts show that Boykin has been playing more than Blake the past two weeks and now it's time for them to rotate Blake and Grant every few series or so and see what you have. Get the kid some experience. Normally I wouldn't subscribe to that theory in the middle of a playoff run but he can't be any worse than Blake at this point.
