How he did this with such a huge head is amazing

Man I miss Troy even more now. How incredibly gifted he was

Just waiting for that HOF ballot nomination. Should be an automatic inductee when it happens.

Keep in mind these are just a sampling of his prowess as he could fill many a many a tapes with highlights.

Another thing, it was sure NICE to hear Myron Cope on the last video.

He was the tazmanian devil. A whirlwind that raised the level of what i considered excellent play. He was the first defender that made me miss Woodson just a little bit less. I miss him so much. I donate to his charity. I followed him on instagram (my only famous person I've followed). To me Troy is the definition of a great football player.

On the anniversary of his retirement...some highlights of Troy's time in Black & Gold

Memories.........like the corner of my mind.
AMAZING player. Had better walk right in on 1st attempt to HOF.

My ONLY issue is the Titans game highlights.
Yeah, the timed jump over the pile on Collins was ridiculous, no question.
But to me, that wasn't even his best play of that game.
THIS is the best play of that game by Troy.
This is on Chris Johnson, the man of the insane 4.2 40 time.

( If someone can peg the video as I cannot )

Look where Troy is coming from and how dialed in he is!
THIS made my eyes pop from their sockets and damn near broke my OG TiVo unit.

I'm sure some of it went on then, but it makes you wonder how the BS of the past season would have played out with the leadership that used to be on this team. I think not well.

Yoi and double yoi did we have some play makers back then.

better be a first ballot! He could make plays everywhere, in the backfield, at the LOS, vs the run, 30 yards downfield, it didn't matter. He was better than Ed Reed, Reed was primarily a center field, a very good one, but Troy was far more active.

one of his best plays, I didn't watch the above highlights. Was in the 2005 AFCCG, I think it was a screen to our defenses left side to Mike Anderson, he had 2 blockers in front of him and it looked like he had tons of room to run, but Troy some how turned sideways and split the linemen and tackled Anderson for no gain on 3rd down.

Oh he will be a first ballot nominee this August Tom. If he isn’t a first ballot elected, then the jig is up on Anti-Steeler nominations. Both Faneca and Troy should be inducted in Feb 2020.

The closing speed of a lightning bolt. One of the best plays I've ever seen. I remember my boss at the time saying he's never seen anything like that play. Agreed.

I can't embed that video but it's here at 1:45 (along with other heat-seeking missile tackles)

Similar to the play he made against the Denver RB close to the EZ, just made my jaw drop. In that above video I think it's at 1:40 or so. But the one against Johnson is the best. Like you said, it was like he was hit by a lightning bolt.

Behind? Oh, Coach you are turning into A. Brown. If you haven’t guessed, your repertoire is the basis of this thread.
