How about Jack DelRio to replace Butler?

All he has to do is grab the WR's jersey as soon as they run by him and keep ahold of it thru out the play. He should be pretty close to the action then. It was what the Jags DB's did yesterday anyways. Ben 60 plus drop backs....zero penaties on the Jags DB's....

It's magic Man. They're just that good. There's a special section in the rule book page 6,354. It clearly states that it's A ok.

The D would have performed just fine with our all world ILB being able to walk. Losing him was tough, and unexpected. We couldn't solve the problem of executing without him this year, so it will have to be addressed next season.

why do we need an all world ILB for the defense to work. ?

They beat our *** in regular season too with shazier in there.

As much as we're blaming Butler, me included, when Dick left, the D became at least 50% what Tomlin wanted. Tomlin may be the real issue on D. If they do fire Butler, Tomlin needs to stay out of the D.

That's why it will take a strong establish DC from outside the organization. Jack DelRio / foot man / are a couple

Therein lies the problem , build your D around 1 superior talent and he is unable to go....so is your D..lets do what we want on the DL 5-0 will fix it....lets do what we want at LB 5-0 will fix it..5-0 can't fix all..and the mindset of totally building around a player who had never played 16 games in his NFL career just boggles the mind... 5-0 was dynamic ...but if losing 1 player turns your D to mush...you are doing something wrong

Losing 5-0 was a contributing factor but scheme / DC had a lot to do with it. A good coach can cover a weakness but they put play er X in and made no other adjustment.
