we never had him cover TEs
we never had him cover WRs
we never had him cover RBs

all he did was rush the passer or set the edge. nothing more. nothing less. just those two.

Don’t get too enamored with names although easy to do. This isn’t the same Justin Houston of four or five seasons ago. Slowed down, gets injured more, missed more games, and just not same player. 12 million for today’s version just not worth it.

I agree on the price tag. But as a situational pass rusher he would have been a solid addition.

so he basically has a 23M contract with 18,5M guaranteed, most of them in the first year. As you said, impossible for the FO
