Manzel was a middling 1st rounder, 22nd overall... Akili Smith and Ryan leaf were 2nd overall picks, Jamarcus Russel was a #1 overall... those were real draft busts... middling 1st round QBS bust more than one thinks.... mostly because they are drafted by the browns
 
Agree. Most didn't think Jonny party time was going to do ****. Leaf if I recall was the next Joe Montana.

He doesn't even deserve a thread on our board. He sucks as a NFL QB, he seems to be a dumb-*** of a person, and behaves like a little entitled punk. IDGAS if he fell off the planet.
 
All he had to do was kinda stay out of trouble and he probably gets another real chance somewhere else. There will be a roulette of QB's this offseason with RGIII gone and Kapernick gone, Indy needs a real backup. Kid could have found a solid backup job maybe like the 9ers with a chance to start again. What a ********.

Just watch, Jerry Jones will trade Romo and a first-round pick to the Browns for Johnny Rehab.
 
He wants to go to Dallas? If I were the Browns, I'd suspend him w/o pay so he can't play anywhere.
 
I agree he will end up in Dallas and I will literally laugh at how that is gonna work out. If they gave up a water bottle and three tampons for bloody noses they would be fleeced. Kid is gonna be released FOR SURE and he wants to go there anyway.
 
It's just sad. He's just such a ******* train wreck. He's literally flushing his career down the *******. I mean he could have been a viable backup. He could have made some money and perhaps even eventually turned into a decent QB. He showed (occasionally) flashes of competency. But he's such a raging drunk he can't keep it together for a week or two.

It's really sad.
 
With all the hype that surrounded this jackass coming in, yeah, he's most definitely a bust.

Meh his best talent is partying... don't kid yourself... he never had the physical attributes to be a good QB in this league... a solid year of film on the kid and hed go the way of Brady Quinn, or Colt McCoy or every other wannabe never was the Browns brought in there... a Good College QB doesn't equal even average NFL QB...
 
Ryan Leaf, not just alchol, but other substances followed. Johni bench, mltiple problems right off the bat.
