You can buy a championship team because the Buccaneers just did it and so did the Rams just prior to them. There has to be a method to the madness though and Omar Khan has given me no indication whatsoever he has any clue what he's doing as a GM.Yeah this is a bad trend. We used to cut / trade aging vets now we sign them. Bottom line is you can not buy a championship team it just does not work in the NFL. Guys need time to gel w/ each other. You could also bring in the best guys at each position and it wont matter if you have a terrible scheme. I do not think Ramsey will help the team much although he may take more risks than he is "allowed" to. We bring in these guys and make them play conservative schemes that just handicaps everyone. The pass rush gets handicapped by no blitzing or just being outnumbered up front, the secondary plays way too far off the WRs and leave big gaps between zones, QBs are handicapped by being told to throw outs or moon balls w/o using the middle of the field. The run game is handicapped by the passing game staying close to the line and telling the world when they are going to a run play. Maybe someday the FO will catch on....
