Slightly off topic, isn't it time for another dri archer or Jarvis jones thread? Threads like this distract us from a good rehashing of material we aren't ever coming to a consensus on.

Still busy selling magazines.........for some weird reason I remember his job from last time he was on the board.
This is by far, the GREATEST message board on the interweb!!!!! It's not just the vast knowledge / know how / coaching ability / drafting advice / but also open vast personalities of those who post. I am glad we as a family can share true and just critiques of one another and amongst ourselves. Thank you to all, even coach, for your participation.
Salute the nation

I think it's time to give Chickllo some of Javris Jones' snaps, and move AB to return kickoffs. Playing below average players doesn't help us win.

Coach, I'm happy to see that you have a good sense of humor. However you probably need to slow down on the amount of new threads.
So my point is we don't need a new thread every time Tomlin makes a bad decision, or Bud Dupree doesn't get a sack and 10 tackles in a game. We know who we are and I think everyone realizes we're damn lucky to be 4-3 with our franchise QB missing 4 games and a patchwork secondary loaded with back-ups.
Hey, the threads are football related. I understand that there is a difference between relevant and interesting new threads and a repetition of prior posts, but I like seeing new threads on the football forum. I don't really mind seeing something that is similar to a post made earlier, even by the same author. I just say, "ehh" and move on.
That takes me maybe 30 seconds.
Again, football related posts about Tomlin making a coaching mistake, or about Dupree struggling to get to the passer, are appropriate. Maybe I disagree with the point, but the post gives us something to debate about the Steelers - the point of this forum, no?
This topic would be best handled with a PM. I think my post count relative to many others is very low.
I really do not know your server space here, but I'll assume older threads are deleted over the course of time allowing the space you have to be managed?
As for who replies to any post, that is his or her own choice. If I don't like a topic, I simply pass over it, and move to the next thread. If I like the post, I'll hit " like "

Tdub88,
I never sold magazines.
I don't know....It seems like the majority of Coach's thread are repeat topics that have been discussed a hundred times over. I will admit he starts a nice thread now and then.
So you weren't very good at your job. Don't take it out on me!
No need to be snarky Coach. Everyone is welcome here. Now stop wasting server space unless you're a contributor!

Years back ( 1990's to early 2000's ) I used to go to a Steelers bar in Fort Lauderdale called " Spanky's In-between the waters " That place rocked on game day. The owner was Craig Caffio....aka Spanky. I can almost taste the cheese steak and Iron city beer now....
The parking lot was full of Ford's, Chevy's and Toyota's. I was the guy driving the Lexus. I must say the people from Pittsburgh were the most down to earth folks I've ever met. It didn't matter if I didn't look or talk like them, I was accepted as Yinzer.
I must acknowledge that my ability to catch the sarcasm in print combined with a with a snarky reply is something I need to work on. Yes-- the Black and GOLD carpet so to speak has been rolled out. Appreciated.
