Start charging Coach 5 bucks for every new thread that he starts. You could sweeten the pot and make it 20 bucks for every three new threads he starts in a 24 hour period. He'll bite!

This topic would be best handled with a PM. I think my post count relative to many others is very low.

I really do not know your server space here, but I'll assume older threads are deleted over the course of time allowing the space you have to be managed?

As for who replies to any post, that is his or her own choice. If I don't like a topic, I simply pass over it, and move to the next thread. If I like the post, I'll hit " like "

I'll consider, but he carefully what you wish for. I'm thinking for an avatar I could have a deer in the headlights with Mike Tomlin's name under it to use when we see bad coaching cost us games like the Ravens or Chiefs

Coach, I'm happy to see that you have a good sense of humor. However you probably need to slow down on the amount of new threads. I think most on here are very well aware of this football teams shortcomings and to add to that; we're not alone in that regard. What team really doesn't have issues. Geez! Look no further than our North Division. The Browns are perennial screw-ups loaded with issues from top to bottom. The Ravens are 1-6 paying a so called franchise QB 20 million a year, have no receivers, a terrible secondary but they have a franchise QB. The Bengels are currently sitting in the catbird seat but history says they will implode yet again. So my point is we don't need a new thread everytime Tomlin makes a bad decision, or Bud Dupree doesn't get a sack and 10 tackles in a game. We know who we are and I think everyone realizes we're damn lucky to be 4-3 with our franchise QB missing 4 games and a patchwork secondary loaded with back-ups. Just look no further than Dallas to see what happens to a team when their #1 QB goes down and the mess they have with that ownership supporting a thug like Hardy. I'm happy with the Steelers and how they do things for the most part. Do they make mistakes? Of course they do but so do 31 other teams in this league.

Hang in there Coach and enjoy the rest of the season.
 
All right. Once I get a PM reply I'll either ante up or limit the new threads to say 8 a month.
 
How about one per week? Seems appropriate. This way you can point out your concerns for the week's game and last week's results all at once. Streamline the collective consciousness of your observations.
 
Love Coach threads. Without him, it would be the same cycle of boring jokes and angry drunk posters.

"Will Ben eat scrambled eggs or bacon?"

"Do we need better cornerbacks?"

"Rank our running backs in order of production."

"Can our conference record GET any worse?"

"Are you guys reading my threads?"

"Do these posts count as 'Published Works'?"

"Has Tomlin made it over the Hump?"

"Hey, how come nobody else is posting?"

"Head Size, It isn't just for hats anymore."

and my personal favorite,

"I know there's another thread about it, but it wasn't started by ME"
