Here is the bottom line concerning the Steelers

They simply have to win 2 of the next 3 and they will be playing Baltimore at home for the division title. Anything less than that and they are likely gone. I don't see Baltimore winning 3 in a row before their game in Pittsburgh so that is what it really all boils down to. Yes anything can happen but that is the way I see it. Make no mistake....today's game with the Giants is not an absolute must win but it is pretty damn close to being one. Do we as fans really think they will go to Buffalo and Cincinnati and win two straight on the road? Today's game is a monster for their playoff chances....they have to defend their home turf. Go Steelers! Oh, and Go Dolphins!

If that statement is made assuming the Rats lose in NE, then we need to start looking at potential tie breakers. First is head to head. Assuming we split we go to division record, right now we have 1 loss and they have none. If we lost to Cincy we would have 2 division losses. We can't lose that game. Conference record is the next tie breaker. Right now we are behind the Rats and can't afford another conference loss. As we are done playing NFC teams, that means we need to win out. I won't go further on tie breakers as bottom line, we need to win out and prevent any tie breakers from coming into play.

Every game we play needs to be won and then we have no worries about playoffs.

I actually hope the rats beat the cheats, then nose dive the rest of the season.

Nope. I'm simply hoping the Rats an Bengals lose out and the Steeler's win out.

With an 11-5 record, a healthy roster and a shot at Miami, Denver or KC in the first round, I like our chances.

Coates has GOT to get his **** together though. And it would REALLY be nice to see Williams back in the backfield spelling Bell now and then.

Great game, still not real confident in us beating Baltimore
Any chance at the Post Season means the Steelers have to win more AFC games than the Rats including beating them Christmas Day at Heinz Field.
All the " if they lose to this team" or W/C seeding and blah blah blah is all hopes lies and BS.
Winning means the Steelers control their destiny. Depending on somebody to lose for help?
FAK that.

what? lulz

The division lead is the only thing that matters. You hope for a at loss over anything else knowing the Steelers will probably have to be one game better to get into the playoffs.
