How do the Patriots possibly win the SB and have 63 million dollars of cap space? I don't really want to hear how Tom's just playing for the Championships cause that's Bullshit. And Gronk is only a 6 million dollar cap hit. I'm finding all of this a little hard to believe.

Thought the same but I've never been good at numbers. Still working on multiplication.

One day that entire ******* franchise will go up in flames...........AND no one will give a ****. !!!!!!!!!

the reason is because their team isn't actually that good. It's just a sad commentary on just how far the level of play has fallen in the last few years that a mediocre team like the Pats can be nearly unbeatable simply by playing with good fundamentals and making few mistakes.

^^ winner

They also dumped some high paid players, like Collins and Chandler Jones. And Hightower is still unsigned.

I still come back to Brady and Gronk being paid less than either Ben or AB. Pretty sure there is shenanigans going on there. For example, Kraft owns giant companies. They advertise. Brady's wife is a supermodel. What stops him from overpaying her through a shell company and there by indirectly paying him.

god if I don't have to sit through another nut hugging Patriot nut hugging thread in my life, life will be good.

That team doesn't need stars it has the luxury of having signals, and every other thing they cheat at to gain a edge at their disposal. Not like they are going to come out and volunteer what they are cheating at.

Hey everyone I found a way to still steal signals, we are just sneakier at it.

We still mess with radio headsets and fine line every rule we can possibly.

We get rid of our pricey players, who needs them? I can teach any bum to know what plays to look out for.

Hey but no worries we were caught cheating every which way to Sunday and got a slap on the wrist.

But honest engine we stopped because we were taught a lesson.

I've said all I'm going to say about it. Nothing is going to change my mind on it. "Football fundamentals " my ***. It's not rocket science and the rest of the coaches in the league are not stupid men . I would hope some start to fight fire with fire. In today's day and age the technology is available to gather the intelligence you need. It's all in how you use it.

Ask POP, lol

VERY hard to believe.
Some serious cheating of the system going on up there.

they are the gods of the NFL. No other team is or will be as perfect. Lord Tom and the new Emperor Bill will win 10 SBs. Everyone else is along for the ride. Hang on and enjoy greatness. I'm bowing as I type. . .

Prostitution.

Ole Tommy Boy spends his off seasons working the I-90 glory hole.

When things really get tough fire alarm guy gives hand jobs in Boston Common while wearing his Steve Grogan jersey.

All proceeds go back to the Pat* organization.

Say what you want about their coach, owner and players, the whole thing comes down to the game of football. I grew up under the Noll philosophy of a "man on man" approach to playing an organized game, under a book of common rules for both teams and directed by sound management principles.

We constantly get our ***** handed to us by this team and there is no way in hell you can convince me that their players are that much better than ours. While they have been found to stretch the "rule" ethics in the past, I am not convinced that there is enough criminality there to consistently sway game outcome all that much. They've been beat plenty. Why we fall to them on a regular basis has more to do with the game and the people directing the action.

nuff said fur me

They got rid of players that were going to break the bank and they've done a good job with drafting and signing key free agents. Hate to give them credit because the dislike is real, but they've just done very well for themselves managing the roster.

Yep, what they do is every now and then re-sign one of their big money guys. Usually they let them go and replace them with solid veteran players for much less $$$. They also identify unsung guys on other teams...like Hogan, or dfat unsiug guys like Edelman, that they groom and fit into their system.

uh...isn't that how good football teams have always dominated the field?? i hate the pats like the next guy, but to say "isn't actually that good" seems a bit ridiculous at this point.

Isn't that the guy who is going to trial for groping a woman on the dance floor and that groping included penetration for a finger? I thought the trial was coming up but then again, money may have settled it out of court.
