I'm not sure how it sounded on TV.. but Heinz field was electric yesterday especially the second half.
When they stopped Broncos on first series of the 2nd half, you could feel a little energy starting to build and it just kept snow balling from there, it was a lot of fun to be a part of.
That was the definition of playoff atmosphere.
When the defense had the Broncos on 3rd down, it was so loud.. I've been to a good amount of games and that might be the loudest I've ever heard it.
Shazier's INT and AB's lead taking TD were amazing..

To top off a great weekend, I met Yancey Thigpen at Bus's restaurant Saturday night.. what a classy, great guy. We talked a bit and couldn't have been more friendlier.

Lets keep it going fellas.. Ravens are next!

I have no voice today. Zero. I've been to every game at Heinz and that was def the loudest its ever been for a regular season game. Kudos to our fans. After a disappointing showing vs the Colts the fans showed up big yesterday. That place was def electric. And no one left.

It came through on TV just fine...you could really tell that the atmosphere in the stadium was electric...

I read that it was a stadium attendance record. So the extra couple thousand voices must have helped!

Kudo's to those in attendance last night..
Awesome display of what the Steeler Nation is all about!

I have been down on the yinzer's lately, but they came out in full force last night.

There's always those few people that won't stand during big plays on defense.. for the most part everyone was up and screaming this game.

Voice is shot, made a 4 hour drive back home after the game and up for work at 7am but well worth it.

Where's the Brian Williams meme when you need it. I was there!!!!

Yeah it was really ******* loud. Glad to see everyone so fired up. There was a lot on the line and the team got it done. Renegade was absolutely bonkers. Crowd was sick.

Was Renegade done more than once? Sad to miss the game, but i gave those tickets to family in the preseason...

Renegade was only needed once last night .... The crowd was so cranked up they didn't need to play it again .

Yep.. it almost struck again on an INT. I think it was Will Allen or Rob Golden who dropped it on the series it was played.

It was pretty electric when it was 14-7. So quiet, it sounded like Ben was calling signals in a raquetball court.

Considering it was a home game i'd say that's right on point?

I noticed that on TV. I was proud to hear his voice echo as he went through his cadence!

Come on. I have been to several games at Heinz field, and it was never THAT quiet, even when the Steelers had the ball.. If you couldn't see the fans, you wouldn't have known any were there.

I'm glad that it was a sold out event!!! My neck hurts because I was not happy until the last quarter --- so I threw a lot of pillows at my TV in the first half - must have pulled a muscle...

My and I both said how the fans could be heard and when they started Here We Go Steelers Here We Go, was great how it kept going on. When did they play renegade song???? For the fans at Heinz thumbs up and they should no there were a lot of loud fans at home as well. I'm still trying to get over the game.

I'm pretty sure it was early 4th quarter after the Wheaton TD.. I remember it was before we kicked off.

That's ridiculous. I never cheer loud while the Steelers are on offense prior to a first down or something nice happens. So why would everyone be screaming while Ben is going thru the cadence?

Its pretty deflating when Sanders is running uncovered down the field for a TD.

I was at the Raiders and Colts games.

I would be rowdy when they were on D and quiet on O.

But I have to say that as a whole it is lacking at times what I have seen from fans.

Some of it might be late games, people tend to not show for them as much.

The other is the lack of D compared to some playoff runs.

Fans live for good D in Pittsburgh.

Hell off the Raiders game I lost my voice for a week and a half, I had to force myself to tone it down for the Colts game. lulz

Not ridiculous. Look, I am simply making an observation. No, fans in the stadium are not screaming their lungs out when the Steelers have the ball. Neither are they so quiet you would swear no one was there. It was pitifully quiet at 14-7. Sorry I can't recall hearing Ben sound like he is calling signals from my living room.
