Have you ever been less satisfied with ownership and the head coach as a Steeler fan.

Yea, I used to think like that too but look who is in the AFCCG again...... And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if those mfers go down to KC in that cold weather, run the ball right down their throats, and go to the Superbowl again....Don't want them to, but wouldn't surprise me if they did.

I don't like them either but that organization, primarily the coaching, has been on a completely different level than the Steelers have the last 10+ years....

Not drinking the cheating koolaid anymore.

They've done some shady ****, but that's far from the only reason they get as far as they do every season.

The combination of great coaching and QB play gives a team a great advantage, especially when most teams have neither, let alone both.

It also helps playing in a perennially weak division that ensures the lone good team at least one home playoff game each season.

Lambert was holding out for more money. Same as Bell. Noll handled his internal problems far better than Tomlin can dream of. My point is even with multiple distractions and personalities, Noll took his team back to super bowls. And he also started from scratch, not inheriting a stacked roster of Bill Cowher players in their prime who had won a super bowl not too long ago.

Tomlin teams are sunk by divas, bad coaching like not beating 3 teams below .500 winning, pissy time out calls ( They might relieve him of this duty ) and such. We saw it this season. Incompetence on display!

I'll stop for a while if you can tell me one currently NFL coach who has past legends, and x players, and current players taking shots at him and the team. Add some minority owners wanting him out too. Well, Ike I'm waiting....which other modern head coach has these problems? Can you add value to the board and tell us Ike?

Your excuse that this is just a modern times problem doesn't wash because the 31 other NFL head coaches do not have these type of problems, and if they did they are fired.

I'm reading a bit about the East vs. West Shrine game. It seldom has top NFL draft picks, the best value is for small school guys to stand out and get invited to the senior bowl.

You assert Chaz handled team turmoil and distractions better than a current NFL coach(es). I think SteelerinLebanon and Vader pretty much destroyed your opinion piece as it is so I’ll let the masses decide on their own recognizance.

To insinuate that Lambert’s $200k demand in the late 70s is comparable to Bell’s $17 million demand is about as comical as your intelligence, considering neither Noll nor Tomlin had final say over contracts and therefore has nothing to do with your “coaches handling of internal problems”.

You are trying to compare situations from different eras without using the basic form of logic rationalization. Stick to writing with crayons, it suits you better.

Name one current coach who had player(s) bad mouthing them...LOL, you can’t say during Noll’s era because to do so meant you were out of a job. Not today in the currently much stronger players union where you can do pretty much do anything with appeal. But I’ll throw you one.....McCarthy. Yeah he got fired, Rodgers made that happen. But wait that can’t be right, because it only happens to the Steelers. Using the one article about minority owners wanting a coach fired? Please, shock journalism, since minority/non primary owners has as much power in regards to club decisions as you or I.

Still waiting for you to answer my question from post #19. You’ve had plenty of time to research it. But as usual you won’t because it doesn’t fit your agenda.

Have no idea what the Shrine game comments have to do with this thread, but I’m sure you will start another one about it.

I'll never, ever let it go.

To be clear, Lambert does not return for any team activities or honors. So maybe he's not 100% happy with the organization. Bradshaw as well.

Probably can add DEBO / Bell / & possibly AB (jury still out)

That organization has been on a different level than any team in history the past 10 years. Comes from great coaching and players-mostly Brady- who can execute his concepts.
