I think so, and two of our starters need to pick it up.

Tuitt: Had two good games in a row vs. Indianapoils and Tennessee. He was shut out vs. New England and has just five total tackles in his last four games played. What's up?

Hargrave: In a game where pressure up the middle was needed, Hargrave was missing in action. Hargrave had a fast start for the season, but has cooled off. The coaching staff doesn't give him a lot of snaps.

Heyward: He's playing up to expectations and exceeding them as the captain.

Alualu: He's productive when he plays or has done about as much as Tuitt has the entire season. If Tuitt doesn't play up to his ability, I hope he takes a few of Tuitt's snaps.

Heyward has double digit sacks. Tuitt is doing good things. Was it not Tuitt who was in Brady's face that caused his INT? Hell even Alualu is doing well.

We are not containing on the edge very well. That isn't the DL, that's the LBs

Tuitt has been underwhelming as of late. I agree Alualu is playing as well as Tuitt, and therein lies the problem as Tuitt has been very quiet in the last four games.

Hargrave has been quiet as well. Heyward's production has been impressive, but he's only one man.

The DL can play better.

I won't even bother to tally a vote here. Just plain stupid.

No, the problem has been when we run our zone defense, and this goes back to at least the GB game, we rush 2DL and a LB, so only 3 guys. The opponent just leaves a RB in or a TE along with the 5 OL and double all 3 of our pass rushers. I hope they play more man like they did vs NE, it helped generate pressure too

It was never "there" to begin with

Bunch of overpaid overfed dancing bears that ALWAYS run out of gas in the 4th qtr.

Don't contain the edge and are wide open for cut back runs constantly. They're better at getting to the qb this year. We need A LOT more of that and right quick. I keep hoping they do something with Harrison in a creative scheme for the playoffs.

Again that's from only using 2 DL. It's really simple to understand.

When we use only 2 DL they are around 290lbs each, probably slightly lighter than most OLinmen, they each take an Olinemen, now you have 3, 300lb Olinemen left to man handled our 240lb line backers.

Cut back runs are on the LBs filling the gaps, not the DL. LBs have been over running plays. We also need to tackle better

It's tough to rate our DL. We use so much of the 2 DL sets that you really can't expect the 2 DL in the game to do much other than occupy blockers. We need 3 DL in on every single play with an OLB assisting in rushing. If we have 2 DL or only rush 3, we typically get beat. We have to always rush 4.

And, with as good as our man coverage looked on Sunday without Haden, they absolutely should be using it most of the times moving forward when he is in the game. Haden, Burns and Sutton look pretty good to me.

And Hilton. Burns, Sutton, Haden, Hilton, that's 4 guys that can play man similar to what Atlanta did last year.

In football jargon, the dancing bear comment is a compliment, usually reserved for offensive lineman. A way of saying they have good feet.

Tuitt may have been held off the stat sheet, but he was breathing down Brady's neck quite a few times, and hit him a couple times as well. If I'm not mistaken, it was he who forced the Brady pass that was picked off by Vince Williams. Stat sheet doesn't always dictate how a player performed in a particular game.
