Has Bud Dupree hit the rookie wall, or will he break out again?

And yet you all feed the troll by responding to every thread he posts.....most of which has been covered in other threads.

He also had a nice pass deflection I believe on a 3rd down while the chefs were in the red zone. I think the kid is gonna be just fine.

Huh? He looked very good yesterday. In the game thread, I commented on how it is becoming harder to keep him off the field but I doubt they give him more reps. He is looking good from what I have seen.

I thought he played pretty well....did you watch the game?

well he isn't actually a troll, just a bit attention whorish

Bud's been playing great. I wish they'd stop limiting his playing time by taking him off and putting Jarvis on. Bud and Deebo should start, Moats in as the 3rd OLB. End of story.

If i wasnt a slacker, Id write some messageboard program to limit threads to 1 per day per poster, with the clevete that you could earn and spend rep to start more, so if you are a good poster and post in moderation, the few times where a second or third started thread was warrented, you would easily be able to do it... trolls and attention grabbers would be SOL... (not singling you out Coach, just saying it can get brutal on some boards with 15 threads about the same thing

Bud doesn't play the same side as Jones. So Bud's playing time isn't affected by Jones playing

He's in a rotation with Moats. He's not out there every down. When he is out there, he is noticed. I've liked what I've seen from him in the 2 games I've seen in person.

Got ya, didn't think of that LOL

But I'd still like to see Bud on the field more. He needs all the playing time he can get. He's very raw, but already disruptive. He will only get better with more playing time.

I saw that, but just two tackles in two games isn't great

Bud's made more impact plays than Jones or Moats. He's doing just fine.

BTW, should we be questioning Harrison with just five tackles in two games?

I think Dupree's play so far this season has been above the line so to speak! He has a good pedigree, but we knew that coming into the season. OBVIOUSLY!

"is coach's thread starting ratio bigger when the Steelers lose?"
That would be a nice thread on its own to discuss the topic

I am going with the over.

although I do think his threads are below the line

I question his pedigree

and I will leave no stones unturned

if we are painting with a broad brush

obviously most might agree

hi

He had a nice batted down ball to on Sunday.

He's been solid when he's been on the field. His sack numbers will go up even more once they stop with only playing him part time.

For a rookie in the zone blitz defense he is doing very well. A ton of upside for this kid.

I think with, prior to his current in jury, Tuitt and Heyward playing so well, Bud got a little less playing time. With Tuitt out, BD got a little more and is showing VERY good characteristics. He has a lot UP side, keep the truck trucking...

Not that familiar with Coach, is he being sarcastic? Or is this meant to be a serious question? Let me guess, this guy is from the Bustamalu Bunch isn't he?

Reality says Dupree is still a Rookie, and is progressing nicely.
