Tomlin did Harrison wrong. It saddens me that he would treat a legend that way.

Again you keep making this about Tomlin. For me it's about how Harrison behaved. He quit on the TEAM. More so than AB did. I could careless what Tomlin did or didn't say. Harrison flat quit on the TEAM.
It started with Tomlin. Who lied to Harrison? Tomlin. Who kept telling him he had a "Plan" for him? Tomlin. Who lied to the owner? Tomlin. It's all about Tomlin because he couldn't tell Harrison the truth and lied to him all year.
Yes, Harrison quit. That wasn't right either. I don't like that he and AB made that stupid video. But Tomlin is still in Pittsburgh and Harrison is gone. It tell me two things about Tomlin that I don't like. It tells me about his character that he is fine lying to players and even the owner. It also tells me he is making personnel decision for the defense when everybody has been calling for Butler's head. Tomlin runs the defense and you can tell that because he is the one late with the play calls and HE is the one who tells players if they are going to play.
I will not disagree with you but in the end Harrison chose to go out as a quitter.
I will not disagree with you either. However, Tomlin has created a culture of dissing our legends. Harrison was only at the end of the spectrum. It had to be incredibly hard to watch that transition without saying **** IT! I bet he held on longer than most would.
What you think Harrison is/was the first player ever to not like his roll on a team? LOL. I disagree. You just don't about most because they handle it as a professional.
Not what i meant at all. Hines, Troy, Harrison, any Cowher standout, seemed like Kryptonite to poor Shades' legacy.
OK. In the end, though Harrison decided to just quit on the TEAM. As far as Tomlin goes I hope they fire him sooner rather than later. Doesn't change the fact that Harrison quit on the TEAM. You keep rolling this around to Tomlin. That's fine. I'm looking at Harrison's character here. He chose his route. Quitting on the team. No matter how much you try to defer this to Tomlin, in the end, Harrison showed what he is made of by his OWN actions. Quitter. I wonder how he spun that one to his kids.
So you think Harrison is lying? Bullshit. Tomlin or Rooney would come out and say that it wasn't true. But they haven't. Everybody knows what happened and only people that want to bash on Harrison think "well we don't know what was said." We have a good idea because Harrison didn't go from being a great LB and Pittsburgh Steeler player to a quitter for NO reason. He didn't just quit one day. He only played in 5 games. He would show up and not have his uniform in his stall. It's obvious what happened. He has no reason to lie about it.
Also it tells me about Tomlin's character. He lied to Harrison and he lied to the owner. Period.
Exactly. I'm disappointed in the way Deebo left the team but I side with him over Mikey Cool Shades.
Did he really suck that much in practice? Did he really drop off that much between 2016 and 2017? I find that hard to believe.
Would Shades keep a better player off the field to give ''his'' guys a chance, even if they're not as good? Absolutely I can believe that.
But Harrison isn't HERE. There is nothing the Steelers can do about Harrison. He isn't a football player anymore. **** his character because he doesn't affect anything. Tomlin has shown what he is made of by HIS own actions and he is STILL ******* HERE. He's a fraud and a liar. You keep rolling this around to Harrison because obviously you want to let Tomlin off the hook when HIS character is still affecting the team. I could give two ***** about Harrison. But Tomlin is still the coach for the foreseeable future.
What you think Harrison is/was the first player ever to not like his roll on a team?
I want nothing to do with Tomlin. I see what you are saying now I believe. Just seemed to me you are/were defending Harrison's actions(his last season here) because of Tomlin's actions. If that is the case I will argue my opinion(and in no way does it defend Tomlin). At this point I could careless on what Harrison has to say just to grab a few more dollars.
Harrison was wrong to quit on the team. Tomlin was wrong to lie to Harrison and to his boss. The difference is that Harrison doesn't play anymore but Tomlin is still coaching... if you can call what he does "coaching". Both guys were wrong but one is still here and one is out of football entirely. That's all I was saying.
If he was still good, why is he out of football entirely?

Even though Harrison was well past his prime he should have at least been in games as relief as a pass rusher. Look at how Peppers was used as an example. It would be one thing if we had great backups looking for playing time, but neither the starter or backups were good.
He was a much better pass rusher than Dupree was, hell the used Chick and Moats quite a bit last year, he was definitely better than both of themIt doesn't matter how good he still was overall, it matters if he was better than the other OLB's on the roster, which he probably was.

WTF are you talking about. Where did I say that he was still good? Do you always have to try and start ****?

Well, last season (you know, when Harrison was released by Tomlin) he was still good enough to record 2 sacks and 5 tackles in 1 game for the Patriots. While Bud Dupree had a grand total of 6 sacks and 31 tackles in 15 games for the Steelers.
And, yet, went unsigned.
