Harris signed

I have a feeling that deal is a heck of a lot cheaper than what Okung would've commanded. Not really sure which one is better, I don't follow Olineman too closely. Anyone know if he's any good?

Word here in Detroit is that the asking price is roughly $11million a year. Detroit had him in for a visit and the lions are trying to get him to sign.

11 million a year would be absurd for Okung, considering his issues.

If that is truly the case he only stopped through the Burgh to get a look at all those trophies in 1 place as a fan then proceeded on using us as leverage.

Good depth behind The Ranger. He's a little old at 31, but as a backup that won't matter much.

You have the coolest avatar on this board, would love to have a shirt with that on it.

Countdown until Supe finds out Harris is a devout Muslim and blows a gasket. 3... 2... 1...

heh heh...thx!

Okung is all about himself. He didn't hire an agent for a reason. He will sign to the highest bidder, now I am not going to say I blame him,but he defiantly is not Steeler material.
I bet he wants 9 mill +

Living close to Seachiken land and going to several games over the years, the fans are sick and tired of him. Don't think the value is there.

Solid signing. You get a guy at backup money who could start if Villanueva can't win the job. If nothing else, they got a good backup.

He started every single game at Notre Dame. He's also a flex T.

This says a lot to me: It says they know the window is closing and better make hay now or be sorry. This is the most aggressive I have seen the front office in years.

The window is opening, not closing. The team has been rebuilt on the run, without a Ravens like collapse. Only need a few more pieces. We'll be a serious contender for the next 3-4 years.
