Cowboys' Hardy gets suspension reduced from 10 games to 4

IRVING, Texas — Dallas defensive end Greg Hardy’s suspension for his role in a domestic violence case has been reduced from 10 games to four.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy announced arbitrator Harold Henderson’s decision Friday.

Hardy missed all but one game last season, but was paid his $13 million salary while on Commissioner Roger Goodell’s exempt list. Goodell gave Hardy the 10-game suspension in April after the league was allowed to view evidence from Hardy’s domestic violence trial in North Carolina.

With the reduced ban, Hardy’s debut for the Cowboys will be against Super Bowl champion New England on Oct. 11.

As far as my opinion... making that kind of money they are making should come with stiffer penalties for being dumb-*****...

1.) For all the little stuf with coincideing punishment next to it.
2.) for all the stuff you get LIFETIME ban

he sat out last year, but still collected his paycheck, if I remember correctly.

the ****** makes x-millions of dollars and acts worse than a drunken frat boy on a weekend bender in Tijuana with a suitcase full of coke. I would expect, if I were his employer or the over-seer of his employer, that this douchebag would act like a ******* professional and not put himself in situations such as the one where he threw a woman onto a bed of guns and ammo and threatened to kill her. If he has anger management issues, then he should seek help. Although that would contradict him playing defense with reckless abandon. So there is a catch-22 situation here, but he'll be Greg Hardy long after he's an NFL player.
