Halfway through the season, AFC North yet again best division in football

Going to be tough for sure. Bengals are probably the best. The Browns D is legit, but their offense might be worse than ours. Ravens are playing well, but never know what you are going to get. The Browns should get at least 3 more losses, Ravens, Bengals, hopefully us, maybe jags / texans. Ravens have a tough schedule (bengals, 49ers, dolphins, jags, us, chargers). Bengals have Chiefs, ravens, jags. Definitely going to be a fight to the finish. Our schedule is not terrible, but we got the bengals x2, ravens, and the pats. The Pats are not good, but we could get severely outcoached and lose. We for sure need to win the next 2 against GB and the Browns.

Yeah no kidding. They have 4 games that will be knockdown dragout fights. That OL will have to play above the line. So will Kenny.

Kenny will need to progress. More specifically he will need to increase his accuracy. Regardless I think he still has potential for the future but for here and now he will need to show better early and not just late in games. Making the plays that are there to make.

I lean in that he will but that opinion can easily go south if he struggles.

AFC North has turned into one if not the best division overall. Not that any of the teams will go all the way and win it. Have my doubts there. But yeah each team is capable of pulling out tough wins that many would think they aren't capable of...

They best keep our 1/2 year benched 1st round pick in a starting role. He is better than eithear starters at the Tackle position.

Way better than just being a depth player.

He has showed he is an upgrade on the field. For me I would leave him at RT for now as I think that would put your best run blocking capable onto the field. I also think he is an upgrade in the pass blocking department over both starting tackles.

To me, it looks like we are walking smack into a 9-8 record once again, just good enough to keep the Tomlin defenders going on and on about "no losing record." We are likely to lose the 3 games vs Balt and Cinci (x2), and probably lose the other vs. Cleveland and another vs. GB, Seattle, Colts or NE, giving us 8 losses, and 9 wins. Tada. I've been predicting that since the schedule came out. Tomlin can march around like he's the gift to head coaching with another "non losing" season.

And then, Steeler fans will rejoice as the chief scapegoat, Canada, will be sent packing and all will be good again (except it won't be as long as Tomlin is still HC).

And Tomlin will choose another OC. His selections since becoming a head coach have been remarkable. It looks like he has preference to anyone that attended William and Mary or is from Maryland.

The back half of the year should be fun. The Ravens are making things look easy and Joe Burrow is back in form. Pittsburgh and Cleveland are both leaning on defense and defense travels well when the weather gets cold.

I'll say it...

If we split between the Ravens and Bengals - we win the AFCN.

As long as we don't get that crap ref crew from the Jacksonville game again - GB, Indy, *'s and Seattle are all wins...

Lamar hasn't beaten us in 4 years. We know how to shut Joe down too. And we've got a special massage waiting on Deshaun.

I told my 49ers fan friend the Steelers are getting zero help from the ragged *** NFC west. After the 9ers beat the brakes off the Steelers the division is 0 for the AFC North.

That would be optimal. I'd settle for just winning the next game, but looking better doing it. Then it's two weeks of smash-up derby with the Browns&bungles.

The defense of those two teams is my only concern.
