Haley, Roethlisberger Didn’t Agree on Third Down Calls

Because it would've been a huge **** storm. Ben isn't gonna undermine the coordinator.

Just like AB was a piece of **** last year because he doesn't always run the route that's called. You have the best receiver in the game, who works harder than anyone, and he was made out to be some third rate guy.

I hear you, but if Ben went to a QB sneak instead of a pitchout, we may have played on Sunday. It has happened in the past. A QB will audible out, be successful, then get into a shouting match on the sideline with the OC. In this situation, it appears that confidence in Haley was already lost. I would have appreciated if they guy who actually played football, made the executive decision.

No offense Cope, but how many times do we have to go over this? They did not have a call for a QB sneak. He couldn't whisper to everyone they he was gonna sneak it at the line of scrimmage. He couldn't even just tell MP because the play call with a pitch with guys pulling. It would've never worked. They have no audible call for a sneak, so he couldn't call it.

Too bad that Ben can't just tap Pouncey's *** like Brady does, to let his center know he's sneaking. That would be a great wrinkle for Ben to pick up. In that instance, it doesn't matter what the play call is, they are just going to barrel forward.

They don't have that call in there, and the head coach doesn't want him sneaking, it's not up to Ben
