The first play of the second drive when the DL got blown 5 yards off the LOS then Fournette pushed the pile for another 5 yards pretty well summed up the defensive effort today - gutless.
In the simplest way possible of looking at this --- our offense scored 42 points against the best defense in the league and our defense essentially gave up 45 against a QB that couldn't hit the ocean from the beach, a team with no WRs that could make our roster and an overall offense that would be charitable to call middling. Pathetic defense and pathetic coaching.

I watched the Tomlin presser with my son, we just looked at each other and laughed. He acted like he thought all of his decisions were spot on and it basically came down to execution. SMDH
I am one of the first people to call out Ben when he play like ***, he wasn't the reason they lost today.
The D spotted the Jags 21 points, Ben can take responsibility for 3-4 of them if he wants.
The O then out scored the Jags 42-24 the rest of the game. Ben responsible for 6 of the points by the jags.
Ben gives up 9, 12 at best, the D gives up 33-36, if they just play average, they win going away.
This was NOT Ben's fault. 37-58, 469 YDS, 5 (6) TD, 1 INT 1 Fumble. That my friends would be a career day by 95% of the players to have EVER played the game. Not even top 5 for Ben
Tomlin never accepts responsibility. It's part of his personality.
The fact that they neither called holding/PI on the 4th down throw to Juju OR roughing when Ben was thrown down told you everything you needed to know about the officiating.
They were utterly on their own.
