First, I hope that she is found safe and well. Something seems off though. It’s like a manufactured distraction to draw attention away from voter fraud, democrats laundering our tax dollars to line their pockets, Somali/Minnesota money theft, the Clitons, etc…. Savanah is an enemy of the people fake news TDSer. That commie ***** can suck a dick. I hope her mom’s ok though.

One of those things where I reserve comment until we get more information.
I do find it a little odd that the last person who saw her was a son-in-law, brother-in-law, something, dude seemed a little sketchy.

Put your money on her being dead already.

My honest take is that this is a sacrificial distraction from all the real news. But, I'm tainted like that.

Very slim chance she’s still alive. Also these things almost never turn out to be planned stranger kidnappings for ransom, my guess is it’s the son-in-law or an attempted burglary gone wrong, ransom notes just an attempt to throw off investigators.

Trump seemed to like Savannah. He said he always got along well with her. I don't think he would have reached out like he did. As for the kidnapping itself definitely seems very odd. Seems like an inside job. There was a reporter that claimed a source told her the son-in-law was a suspect the other day, but the police/ fbi are still saying they don't have any suspects. The whole ransom, but no contact or proof of life is also strange. Not sure how anyone would honestly think they could get away with kidnapping the mother of a celebrity

Well, this is odd. Quoting Silence of the Lambs in a plea to get your mother back?

It sure is getting a lot of coverage, even on Fox News. To the point of saturating, over-coverage, if you ask me.
It's the world we live in, if it were Tom Brady's mom we would be seeing the same thing. Yours or mine, crickets. Inquiring minds n'at.

Those weren’t Guthrie’s words. That’s every plea after an abduction. The FBI has a script for people to that is likely to appeal to the abductors and not make matters worse.

Even so………Silence of the Lambs?

And while you’re right about the FBI and scripts, there’s no way to know for sure if this is one. And it makes it no less odd.

Thomas Harris, who wrote Silence of the Lambs, was a reporter and crime writer for the AP prior to becoming a novelist. He was likely familiar with pleas to abductors.

That is a Democrat for ya. Can't come up with an original thought, even if someone's life depends on it. She probably typed "what to say to mothers kidnappers" into google and came up with that.

I'll tell you what I would do if it were me. I would call a press conference and offer that 6 million dollar bounty to anyone who could hand over the abductors and my mother.

Dead or alive.

6 million dollars will loosen some lips up pretty quick.

Can you elaborate on this? What is up with Tucson, for those of us who are unfamiliar?
Tucson is extremely blue and pushes all the values that goes with it. The Catalina Foothills is slightly north of the city offering scenic views and where the wealthy folks live.
Think of it as Detroit and Grosse Pointe Woods if that helps.

This case bothers me. If my mom was kidnapped, there would be zero coverage except maybe a local paper or station - if that.

This story has DOMINATED the news for a week. I mean, the first story on every hour's news block, 20-30 mins of coverage per hour. It's literally getting as much coverage as Desert Storm did during week one.

Savannah Guthrie - sure she's famous, but she's B-list famous. A news anchor for the TODAY show. Her mom - who NO ONE knew about except likely her own family - is the one kidnapped. You would expect this type of coverage if Melania were kidnapped, or someone from the Royal Palace in England. Instead we have an 84 year old mom of a news anchor and it's Defcon-level reporting.

It's insulting to every other family who may go through this or any other tragedy with 1/1000 the attention.

Is it a diversion? Maybe. I don't know. But it sure seems to be way overblown when compared to everything else going on in the world. Ryan Routh sentenced to life for attempted assassination, we still don't know anything about Thomas Crooks, Iran is sealing up another nuclear bunker, the nation is battling over IDs to vote, Minnesota and other fraud, the Olympics, etc.

And 60% of the news is this story. Makes no sense to me.

Honestly, if someone walked up to me before this and said "Hey, did you hear about Savanah Guthrie"

I would have said "who is that, some porn star?" :ROFLMAO:

I keep checking in on the updates because the case is so weird. We all know something doesn't add up about it.

I think that is what has captured the interest of most people.

Yes it does. You explained it - distraction.

They finally have a concrete lead from a ring camera video.
I assume the FBI retrieved that from the cloud?
Wearing a ski mask and gloves he is also carrying, but he has a side arm holstered in the front of his body.
To me that indicates someone that’s not a professional or a trained concealed carry individual. That holster position is probably one of the worst positions you could holster a side arm..
Think about it ..right below your belly button pointed straight down to your manhood..

Does anyone know where Flog was that night?

Maybe he no longer has " manhood".
